"I'll take the good and bear the bad until my dying day"....Aaron is a True Patriot!

This song always resonated with me. It seemed as if I’ve been the object of ridicule all my life just for trying to do the right thing. Fortunately, when I was in my 30s this song was popular on the radio… And it reminded me that who I am is MINE, doesn’t belong to anyone else but the Lord. And… Having the freedom to choose to be who I am and stand for what I believe is right is actually a privilege & a blessing. Men have died, yes died, to allow me to have this privilege. And I cherish it. 🙏🏽♥️
@pointingdog72354 ай бұрын
I see that you have actually given thought to the fact that men young and old, and at times women have actually given their lives to further and protect the cause of freedom for this great nation. I read your post again and I have one thing to add. The freedoms you've spoken about are according to the constitution, given from the lord and not the government. Therefore when you are putting your life on the line in the military for example, you are protecting the sacred rights of our land. The politicians are big on wanting to rein in our rights, so they are committing from my standpoint something not only offensive to the people but they are breaking a sacred oath and promise they made before God AND the people who they're serving. 🇺🇸

This Song Embodies the Human work ethic that is truly lacking in this day and age. Not only that, but to have a share in your work and truly taste the fruits of ownership and job security. I knew these concepts at a young age and by the Grace of our Lord have owned and operated my job for 17 years. Sticking to your Guns, Faith in God and always telling the Truth truly sets you free. It puts a smile on my face when you see them stick it to the upper management in this. It’s a shame that more places weren’t able to do that before the manufacturing of this great nation was given away to people who had no stake in the company and either bought out the company and closed it down or simply moved it overseas.

A man with out principles can be made to say or do anything. I liked this song when I first heard it as a kid for its sound, but in recent years I have gained a new appreciation for its meaning.
