Hey everyone, welcome back to my channel! Today we’ll be exploring a recently abandoned movie theater that still has power on and even had a tripped alarm system that went off the entire time we were inside. We make our way through the countless mold infested theaters left behind to decay and nearly escape being caught by workers who were entering the building. just found you from reels, and my favorite part of your channel so far is how simple it is. there's no creepy music, no attempt to make it paranormal or add something extra to it, absolutely no clickbait, no "WOAH GUYS DID YOU HEAR/SEE THAT?" etc. just you walking through abandoned spaces and commenting on it.

I worked here up until it finally closed, ways to keep dehumidifiers in our theaters to prevent it from getting moldy and seeing how this place has certainly decayed is honestly extremely interesting. I even still have my uniform! 2020 really killed this place

The amount of mold just shows hiw they don't clean it properly. The fact it's come up in just under a year shows alot

Abandoned movie theatres are always interesting to check out for some reason. All the mold is weird if the place has only been closed for a year. I’m guessing this place probably closed due to cost of upkeep/repairs during the pandemic. There’s been a few around where I live that never reopened and they were more modern than this place. I’m thinking we’ll probably see more pop up if things keep going like this.

That system isn't tripped, it's just in a trouble or fault condition. Most likely because some sensors or something was disabled.

ive just seen it done at another abandoned theater, but it wasnt clear if it was done by vandals or the owners. to be honest im not too certain why someone would do that

They probably wanted to remove the loudspeakers to install them in another theatre. Unlacing a screen is much more effort than just cutting it. And screens aren't really re-usable, anyway. They are custom-made for a particular size of frame and can't readily be rolled or folded and re-installed elsewhere.

it seems like they could have been contractors entering the building for some reason like assessing damages, we noticed their white work van and they had unlocked a door out front once we left

You Should buy the Theater and fix it and then you could make other grown ups happy and make them Remember the good memoris from there childhood and then kids can see whove it was back then

I believe it was simply due to financial reasons (not being able to compete with AMC and other larger/more up to date theaters) and its not clear if it was pre-pandemic or not but that could potentially be a reason as well

there was an alarm the entire time going off but there was also a humming noise upstairs from the lights/power still being on. however i do think that the vacuum sounding noise at the end was the workers who were entering the building because it didn’t sound like that the whole time
