Gosh, I so agree with what Katie's just said: "From day one it's been you... and tonight it's always been you". There's sth about her voice and the emotion she brings up through her singing that is so special and just makes her stand out. To me, this was the best performance of the night! Abi is a natural-she sings like an angel on earth-the purity of her tone, the emotional connection she brings to every song is soul inspiring. Even if she doesn't "win" AI this year (because when there are good country singers on the show (and there are 4 this time around), they tend to take home the prize), she will become a mega superstar. I can't wait to go to one of her sold out concerts!

I keep coming back to Sarah Bareilles. If you listen to her singing this song, it's on the same level. Abi has so much of the same vocal tones and that is boding well for a long successful career. I hope she wins it all....

When ever I am amazed, thrilled, and drawn in by a performance my eyes tear up. When Abi sings, it happens everytime. When I heard her perform what was I made for, it took about 20 time before the tears stopped, these are tears of admiration, of something very rare and special.

Abi Carter is perhaps the greatest singer to grace the American Idol stage. When I hear her, I think Sara Bareilles, Celine, or even Streisand. I’ll be surprised if her career doesn’t last a long time.

Every season there's one performance that's so outstanding you just have to go back and listen to it over and over again. This year it's Abi Carter's rendition of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. Simply amazing. Music in its purest form. No excessive (and annoying) runs, no over-singing or compressing the tonal range, just a beautiful conduit for talent to flow and the rest of us to enjoy. All I can say is WOW!

It was highly produced. Maybe even auto-tuned. She had a few flat notes but it didn't detract from the performance in it's entirety. Very Sara Bareilles.

Before I start gushing over Abi, I just want to make it known that I believe that the talent this year on American idol is INCREDIBLE. I personally believe that even the top 24 all deserve to become big stars. However American idol needs a winner and my vote for this year is Abi Carter! There's just something about her voice and performances that I get goosebumps EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I have no doubt that even if the majority of the voters don't feel the same way as I do and she gets voted off, she will continue to do amazing work. And I will be there for it. GO ABI!!!
