i figured it out, i just changed the config file in the firmware and reinstalled the firmware. your video showed me where the files were in the firmware package, thanks.

Great video. Thank you for showing off the 2 github pages. I found them myself, but if you would add them to the description that would be great. Also the KP3S uses TMC2225 stepper drivers, so you have to set X_DRIVER_TYPE, Y_DRIVER_TYPE, Z_DRIVER_TYPE and E0_DRIVER_TYPE to TMC2208_STANDALONE. The comments above these settings explain that you have to use TMC2208_STANDALONE for TMC2225 drivers, just to clear up any confusion. Edit: Actually I have to confirm that first. I will update this comment when I know more.

I worked on this for 2 full days and can't get marlin to work with the stock lcd. I have an older copy marlin so I tried your config.h and adv.h. Same thing. No display. Got a marlin bin from github, no abl but it did work. no abl. I am using the kingroon fw now but no babystepping and no easy way to set z offset so making changes in the future will be hard.

Have you tried using Klipper firmware on KP3S? Seems to be easier, but wondering what your experience is with this firmware

Jeff Thanks for the video. Like others have said its much more clear than the KP3s site. I just got the KP3s for my niece and nephew for x mas butwant to dial it in prior to giving it. One thing being an ABL as its would be alot easier for them. I have tried numerous times to install Marlin with no luck on the stock screen. I tried vanilla marlin, and changed the config files, used the TH3d version and even used get hub bin file all with no luick. Wondering if you oranyoneon this board can help me out with this. ? Do you need to change the screen on the KP3s to enable Marlin and if so which TFT 35 would you suggest and did you use? I know there are a few different versions. I love this little 3d printer but really dont like the stock firmware as its hard to change anything. I saw from Kingroon site the firmware they have with the 3d touch but you have to go in and alter the firmware just to change things like z offset etc. Even though Z offset by theory should remain constant, I have found that when changing nozzles, sometimes it can be off just enough to cause a heaache. Being able to babystep and change the z is super useful on my ender3v2 and cr10s. Thanks for your help and or anyone else who chimes in on this. Trying to find the best solution. I was hoping not to have to buy a new screen, but will if needed. Thanks yall
