I think it would have looked a little better if the bowls were positioned from the back so you could see the waterfall from the front but overall pretty neat little pond for goldfish 👍

Like your comment, it looks back to front. The bowls are in the wrong place, Intricate 45 degree cuts to the bricks at the back but simple butt up bricks joints at the front.

Thanks for the video. I'm looking to replace an older landscape timber section in front of the house with a pond much like this that will have two sections with one cascading into the other. Each section will be larger (around 10x12x3 feet. Did you install the inner ring of brick for structural integrity or aesthetics and what type of bonding material did you use for the blocks? BTW, I'm stealing this bowl idea. It looks great.

You should never cut your lining till it’s filled with water , for anyone else that is considering this. That concrete will leach and play havoc on the ph of the pond till it’s moss and slime coated. It will be great eventually as it will raise the ph which tends to drop with koi.

Pool, tub, basin, aquarium, and water-butt are just a few words that is what you have, and "Pond" is not. Like Tyler Durden once said, "Sticking feathers up your butt doesn't make you a chicken". Ponds are small bodies of water that are at ground level, that's like calling an above-ground swimming pool a "pond".
