i don't want to think about how many zombies it took to take down that rhino or gorrilla

they could have exploited preexisting wounds in the creature. if you noticed, most of the zoo animals had huge gaping wounds in them, which could have provided the zombies with a way past the hide.

entirely possible, but they weren't killed by zombies. even without the restraints of pain and tolerance that zombies have, there's no way some of those zoo animals could have been killed by zombies. it's possible that one of the more powerful animals became infected, then attacked and killed the others, leaving wounds that human zombies could use to get at the softer innards. using the rhino as an example, human teeth, no matter what state, simply arent designed to break hide that thick.

oh, well, its not like everyone who played the games also read the books. besides, Capcom has been milking the 'Raccoon City incident' for a while now, since RE2, and that many seperate works on the same event are bound to have multiple interpretations are inconsistancies. i'm just saying, i dont think a zombie could take down most zoo animals, but with RE zombies, who knows?
