i checked in practice tool a few days ago and with the dot items (arrows or whatever its called) it procs on ashed crits (where the slow is stronger and not on chilled enemies where ashe does bonus dmg) edit- also on wiki it says ashe has a special interaction with ie where it procs on her chilled dmg instead of the crits

Getting that 25% crit frame 1 with how Ashe passive works was such a MASSIVE damage boost it's insane. I love how Ashe is one of the champs that most naturally and healthily scales with crit because you don't have to rely on RNG to do more damage before hitting 100%

He means the strat ashe is going for doesnt work anymore The strat being building around a specific augument you might or might not get

I think he's referring to an interaction where the burn critically strike would apply your hamstringer, leading to infinite burn on one crit.

I don’t think the explanation at the start is correct. Not every single hit is a crit when someone has the debuff applied to them it just amplifies damage based on crit (and crit damage). Individual attacks can still crit, it just won’t increase damage but instead slow the enenmy more. Unless this change is arena specific which it doesn’t look like it is.

@@aladdin8423 but that’s still not true. You can see at the start of the video when he still has low crit chance that not all autos crit even when the debuff is applied but damage is increased. I’m sure you can probably spot it when he already has hamstringer at the start too.

Yeah you are correct, I tested this abit ago with hamstringer as well as the Yun tal wildarrows, for the purposes of these items it needs a regular crit which is accounted for separately to ashe’s passive.

@@dirtinator8377 After applying Ashe's effect, every auto after that proc-ed hamstinger. I slowed the first fight with Morde Vex and it worked just like that. Did you forget that the first hit to the non-debuffed target is always a non crit?

i think last patch i played a game with hamstringer + the dot can crit augment, and the hamstringer burn triggers itself leading to an infinite very small burn if you auto them just once

What doesn't work with Vulnerability anymore? I can't find any info on this besides some bug in the tooltip being fixed, but it doesn't even say what the bug was.

im fairly sure yuntal does not apply on ashes empowered autos because theyre not crits, she can still crit it just slows more instead of doing more damage, idk if hamstringer is the same but id assume it is. it might just be proccing cuz you have 50% crit and hit a lot

They made DoTs no longer able to proc Hamstringer, so Vulnerability doesn't work because it makes DoTs crit and Dot crits don't count. Items critting like Muramana and Luden's still counts though I believe.

already checked for ashe passive hamstringer dosen t apply stack for every auto, if you check there is an icon when you crit ( real crit ) and there is no icon when you just use ashe passive and the item apply a stack only when you "real" crit
