They usually are not very vocal but if they are it’s probably important message they want to say😀. Mine is usually quiet and speaks with me using different kind of sounds :)

That is true I have a rare case with my Aby, me and my family for sure know hes mostly Abasinian by the undercoat facial features, but im also very sure hes also mixed with shorthair or other common breeds. Funny thing is he acts like an aby 90% of the time yet is beyond chatty which is interesting I love my lil dude regardless

Absolutely beautiful. My first kitty was an Aby. The day I was brought home as an infant until I was a wee lad. I didn’t know they meowed. My cat never meowed. Just quiet beeps.

Mine purrs almost all the time when he’s near me (unless in deep sleep). When he talks, he is very insistent and is trying to say something. Usually asking for food or trying to show me something. Occasionally (and somewhat annoyingly) he sometimes wants me to watch him eat.

My cat meows about once a year. He's just not very vocal. The only time he REALLY meows (non-stop) is when I take him to the vet. He does purr, but you feel it rather than hear it.

Whenever I get another cat it’ll probably be an abyssinian but I have never seen a rescue in my life. These cats are too pure to be rescued.

When I watch this video, I feel sorry for my Abyssianian boy. I didn' know him that he was that kind even after he died. But I found it in google that my cat died of dka and he was Abyssianian.😥
