Imagine being an AC/DC in 1980 fan and hearing about Bon’s death but the band is making a new album with a relatively unknown singer and you’re sitting there for a minute straight listening to the solo praying that the singer is good... and then you realize all will be well and they did Bon proud.

Music is getting worse year by year. In my country there is a pop singer named Tuure Boelius and he is pretty much only popular because he is the most famous gay person in Finland. Also his music is only done with computer edit, he can't even really sing, and the tunes are taken from other songs and artists the way it can not be proven that he stole them but everyone can hear it.

This whole album was a requiem for Bon Scott. Imagine walking in to the job as new lead singer, and your first assignment is to write fitting words for Bon's requiem, whom you've never met, for the next album by Bon's band, and then sing them in a way meant to honor him. No pressure! The result: The 2nd highest selling album of all time, worldwide, and deservedly so. Well done Brian!

1980. 16 years old. LA Sports Arena. This was the opening song. Everyone talking....BAM...lights off...bell starts chiming...small light comes on stage illuminating only the bell...the guitar begins and the black curtain slowly rises.......the crowd went insane. i still get shivers..... THANK YOU ACDC for making great music and great times. Forever grateful.

@@theiceman6941 I didn't know that, I thought the entire album, particularly Back in Black, was a tribute to Bon.

man... this was when Brian's voice wasn't blown all the hell and he could hit some crazy high notes. I mean, he hits a G# right before the chorus. 16th fret on the last string of a guitar.

I was wondering about trying to sing one of these (i'd pitch me up a LOT) but after hearing this one... geez... even with say 7 frets up I don't think I could sing this and make it sound good. I wonder if anyone does covers of this AND sounds good. gonna run off and see.... heheh

This was only about the Young family, unless I'm missing something Chester (Bennington?) was not involved. While his death was certainly tragic he wasn't in AC/DC.

The absolute greatest rock band ever. They have it all. Loud, in your face, charisma, the gut wrenching tone that makes you want to say YES! this it it! Malcolm was a great rhythm guitar player who instinctively KNEW what his brother wanted from him.

I've just wanted to take this chance to thank my grandma, who introduced me too this band when I was a kid. And that even though she's past away this year I wanted to dedicate this song as a memory too her for being an awesome grandmother and getting me into other bands like Black Sabbath, Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, and even Type O Negative. And I'm hoping that I will see you again on the other side Rip. 🙏❤
