I hope you read this. There is a current Japanese KZfaqr who has been streaming sessions where he uses 100 tickets per stream in the search for Raymond. He is currently on his second week and has failed 1800 times. Consider yourself extremely fortunate :)

Same, though I only spent an hour trying to get him. I won 3 times, but he chose the wrong villagers to kick out, so ugh. Though on the 3rd time he chose the one I wanted to kick out, thankfully. 3rd time's the charm.

So I got him randomly at my campsite. I didn't have a cat villager or a smug personality type, so that probably had something to do with it and may be a good method as villager spawn at camp site is determined by what you currently don't h have on your island. Campsite has max percentage spawn every 6 days, maxing at 20% chance of spawn on 6th day. I may be wrong on that one. Happy hunting.

If you have every personality type except for the one the villager you want is, you will have a 60% chance of finding a villager of that personality type in your campsite whenever a camper visits. Also it's every 7 days that the percentage max's out and you have a 20% chance of a camper every day after that, you were close though.

I started looking for him 3 days ago and I started crying cause I wasted SO many tickets when I forgot to buy some land, and after I bought a plot of land it got way harder for me to get nook miles. I still don't have him yet. You're pretty lucky that you got Raymond so easy cause I've cried 5 times after getting frustrated that I couldn't find him. I'm a huge crybaby for non existent things 😔
