I would love to see you do a comparison Between this and a Heljan O gauge deltic regarding detail and build quality!,

Ordered my KOYLI 3 years ago and it arrived yesterday. Love it! There’s a really good book ‘The deltics and baby deltics’ by Andrew Fowler, it gives a good history of each individual deltic and good selection of photos.

Hi, Fantastic model great video, Accurascale have raised the bar on cost and detail, i hope they produce a class 14,16,66 and a motorised breakdown crane.

As a rule, I'm not a fan of BR 2-tone green. However, I do like this model because of the size of the yellow warning panels too. I currently have the purple 'Gordon Highlander and Rails are currently waiting for me to collect this model and the Tulyar which is the BR Blue with white windows livery. A nice model. I'm looking forward to collecting mine on Saturday

I’m not a fan of early BR 2-tone green either or with small yellow panel but appreciate where they started, I love 55002 looks so much better with big yellow warning panels. I wish I pre-ordered Gordon highlander but I have 4 so I am happy :) enjoy your deltics and thank you for watching 😊

How much did you pay on eBay if you don’t mind me asking? I was watching it but saw it ended early.
@00VirginTrains12 жыл бұрын
I over paid only because I didn’t pre-order royal Scot’s grey but when I see pictures of it finished was gutted paid £180 a little more than I wanted but didn’t think I’d get another chance to grab one!

@@00VirginTrains1 you didn’t overpay my friend, you got a bargain!!!

@@aureol40012 unfortunately it’s dcc ready, was it still too much? I mean second hand class 50’s on eBay are £189 so I thought for a brand new Deltic dcc ready all be it more than the original price I still thought it was worth it :) ordered a sound decoder from Accurascale for it thanks for tuning in :)
@aureol400122 жыл бұрын
@@00VirginTrains1 I think you got a good price. I reckon on an auction it would have hit £200 at least.
