Since we can clearly hear at times different VA's working a joke together or another VA laughing while someone messes up a line, they clearly did not film this dub in isolation, and multiple VAs recorded together.

@@kingmorgana6782 Anime dubs tend to record one actor after another, with subsequent actors using the previous one's recordings as a guide to their own performance. What occasionally happens in voiceover sessions, and leads to bloopers like these, is that the voice director will play a "joke take" the previous actor did to try to catch the current actor off-guard. The infamous ADV Ghost Stories dub was basically this method, only they kept the joke takes for the entire show.

One of my favourites is definitely Phoenix's "oh shit, that's a mental line". With how much of an internal smartass he is, I could totally see him accidentally slipping up and saying what he's actually thinking when he wasn't intending to.

SK8 the Infinity, the director Kyle Phillips is a "sandbox director" who lets the cast play around while recording (he is also the director of the Ace Attorney anime, hence the amazing bloopers) because it helps them relax. Most of the cast sees the ships as canon and so they play it up. Even background characters had some fun thirsty lines. It's the series with the now iconic "HEY, ALL YOU BITCHES AND BROS AND NONBINARY HOES!!" line. Also is the A3! - Act! Addict! Actors! dub. (Actually, that director I mentioned? He voices a character in this one!) Finally, while the series is mostly in progress at the moment, Buddy Daddies. There are compilations so you can experience some of the better lines. Especially for SK8.

The anime is not a full adaptation of the trilogy cuz it excludes key elements of the game, the most notable example being the magatama. As a result, some of the die-hard Ace Attorney fans were not happy with how the trilogy was portrayed. In all honesty, I actually enjoy watching the bloopers more than the anime itself because the voice actors are just having fun and I feel like they're aware that the anime is not accurate either.

I swear, Phoenix Wright has the most hilariously unhinged dubbing I’ve ever encountered in my life 💀 Even though these are professional voice actors, they still goof around like fandubbers at most, and make you think that these dubs are abridged, especially when each of them has a soundboard for random sound effects to enhance their jokes XD

~ 9:20 - 9:30 they make a joke about the wife of Ron having dildos and then at 10:25 they actually pay back to this joke. That caught me off guard so much that I sat there laughing for a solid minute because I didn't realize that they were going to pay back to the joke(plus the fact that it's Pearl, the youngest character in the scene, that calls back to it makes it several times funnier).
