Oh, that makes me remember the live movie, where they show the first case and immediatly jump on the 4th case mixed with the 2nd, because VonKarma killed Mia because she also tried to understand what happened for the DL-6 ( because their mother was involved and her failure made her left the village). So in the end, Phoenix hits the table, making the thinker clock fell on the ground, and he found the last remaining evidence, the DL-6 bullet Mia died retrieving it. But that's not the very same ending. In the movie, Karma disposed of all the evidence, ( in the game, the bullet is the only evidence Von Karma forgot after tasering Phoenix) but they have an advance technologic system which can scan evidences and immediately compared them. VonKarma was never blamed for false evidences in the movie's reality, Edgeworth senior was murdered in the evidence room, searching to prove VonKarma is a forger, because in his last case, VonKarma presented a gun as proof in a murder case, and falsified the bullet comparaison to make that gun the murder's weapon, assuring his "victory". Yani Yogi, as an employe, found Edgeworth Senior at the moment he grabed the gun, and tried to arrest him ( it was his job). Miles came, threw the gun, hiting Von Karma in the process, and the rest is history. So, in the movie, because VonKarma was never found forging evidence, he seemingly didn't have any reason to kill Edgeworth senior, so Phoenix needs to overkill it x) Because the gun disapeared, he just asked for a comparaison between the DL-6 bullet he has and the bullet from the last case of Edgeworth Senior, because, if it was really the murder's weapon, they would 100% corespond, no forgery, so he would just present excuse to Von Karma ... So test, 0%, declared forgery and reason for the murder in the same time x) It's an epic moment ^^
