It's also a wrist exercise for Ace! Notice how he throws them during the songs, it helps to loosen up his wrist. Yes, he tosses out a shit-load of picks per show. If you are in or near the front you will go home with a pick for sure!! Rock On!!

On the rocket ride tour I was 1 row back and I got 5. Cheap bastard was still using the city's picks from the kiss farewell tour. All of them were from Erie pa.

I LOVE IT! Ace has always been my favorite member of KISS when he was in the band. I saw them play on "The Midnight Special" TV show in the 70s, probably 1976 and I was hooked. He was in his "KISS" prime. His solo stuff is and has always been great and he sure looks and sounds great here!!! WELL DONE ACE!!!

Great show, and you can tell the band is tight, and enjoy playing together. Ace at 70, is a fine example of where we want to be mentally at that age.

I get a kick out of the fanboys of kiss don't ever say bad about them or they'll cry. This whole video sounds like crap. He's 70 he needs to retire the whole kiss thing is done. He's so slooooow he's showing his age big time now. Just retire when I say whole kiss thing is done I mean all of them

Ace is by far my favorite member of Kiss. Back when I when I used to teach guitar to kids that wanted to play rock, I always would point them to Ace first because his riffs and solo's were not super technical. His licks were just so damn tasty and well placed. Learn to play like that and then move on from there if you want.

HOLY SHIT!! That's one of the deepest Les Paul tops I've ever seen. Whoever picked that piece of wood for Ace at Gibson must have been a HUGE fan bc I would have kept that top for myself.

I didn’t know Phil Shouse played with him til recently, so I looked it up to see him playing with him and I was SHOCKED when I saw he was doing vocals too! He kicks so much ass in Accept!

I saw Ace in Austin last week, Great stuff, brought me back to my early years when I saw Kiss in 79 for the first time. He still got the chops!

Hey!!! The first time I saw KISS was in 79'. On the Dynasty Tour, right??? I believe John Cougar opened for them but I also believe Loverboy, Judas Priest and a couple other bands were doing short stints with them while they were on Tour. I was 13 years old and pooping in me' pants, seeing my heroes that were like the Dad that I never had in my life and got me through some tough times as a young kid and young adult. They really did..

Ace was the main reason for KISS success. Without him they are nothing special. Ace is still the man and one of my favorite guitarist.

He really didn't write any of the good songs. Gene and Paul made Kiss what they were and would have done so with another guitarrist had they not had Ace. Without Paul and Gene I don't think Ace would have gone very far. He might be a talented player but the ambition and drive wasn't at their level and also there was the drugs and drink...

@@freakazoid4691 Ace wrote many of their good songs too. Paul and Gene wrote the radio hits, that is largely true. But Cold Gin and Torpedo Girl are great, Shock Me is probably my favorite KISS song of all time, and Ace has sold a couple million solo albums without Gene and Paul.

Gene was the ultimate promoter him and Paul whether you like them or not are business first. Ace couldn't promote himself at all look at him now still playing kiss songs to maybe 10 people in a small place. There's a point when it's time to call it a day. All of them need to he can't even play up to speed on the songs anymore. Hell kiss can't even play anymore all of them retire.
