This is only the second of your adventures I have watched. Oh, how this brings back memories of my childhood, being raised on a farm and all of the work. Of course, the machinery now is much more sophisticated and expensive. Funny, I see no ANTIFA, rioters and mayhem there! Beautiful. I envy you and your family's lifestyle. Best wishes from a 72 year old relic.

And that is why you need a small wagon for small bales. Interesting techno stuff with the big square baler. We had a MF3 baler for several years, and it worked fine with minor adjustments made to the knotters done every spring.

Those big balers need a device to turn the bales thru 90 degrees as thery come out of the baler. Its get pretty bumpy driving across the rows picking up the bales with the loader and would save wear and tear both on the tractor and the operator. Good job getting done with your wounded baler. The cows won't care that they were a string short.

Ronda, I was just thinking that it would be nice to have a long drop frame flatbed trailer to stack the bales on, as the bales get higher in height, Ke in may Ha e to use the Tractor with forks to lift them up that high to stack them with one or two of the boys on top of the stack placing them.

Ronda you need to put "tomorrow you'll have more muscles 💪 than you had today" on a shirt 👚! Being a farmer is tough work no matter what buttberg (Bloomberg) says! Who knew your field was next to a well kept cemetery? Besides you! It was funny 😂 when you had your " Oh look 👀 a squirrel" moments! With the crop dusting! Why does "the farmer 👨‍🌾 always look at the person that was operating the equipment like whatever broke was their fault!? Isn't he the one that raked the windrows? 🤔🙄😉🤣 farmers be like nothing ever breaks when they operate it! All I know is Kevin is very blessed with his entire family! Well except maybe a brother maybe 😳😉! Your almost to 30k but I thought you had already passed that milestone!

With a NH 3x4 baler it will make a better bale if you keep the feed rate closer to the 1 line on the monitor as for the straw it feeds so much better not raking it I got over 46 thousand bales on my baler find a used equipment dealer their used parts are cheaper

A fantastic harvest time video, coming with all the ups and downs, makes and breaks of a busy day baling straw. Apologies now, Ronda, but give me more footage of Ethan’s basic, totally mechanical Massey baler, rather than your massive electronically controlled one. That is the old time vintage romantic breaking out in me. He must now purchase a vintage John Deere or Farmall tractor to drive the baler. Spare a prayer for all interred in that neat nearby cemetery, that I noticed when you were baling the first windrow. 🙏 Looking forward to the next episode of A.O.C.

I’m sure your careful around all the equipment you operate, but when you were cleaning the intake to the bailer the term stored kinetic energy kept coming to mind, we had more than one person come into the ER after clearing snow from the rotor of a snow thrower that had been shut down.
@janeking6048
@janeking6048 4 жыл бұрын
Brad Moyer that is a legitimate concern but usually when a baler plugs up it is because a shear bolt broke stopping the kinetic energy of the flywheel. So you need to unplug the baler then put a new shear bolt in before engaging the PTO to start baling again. Not real familiar with snowblowers but from what I know they don’t have the flywheel drive system that a baler has they have a clutch pack that will store energy.
