We are chopping our 4th cutting of alfalfa. While working on the first field we hear some strange noises with the chopper, so we bring it home to have a look at what's going on.
Thanks for Watching!

So many things can go wrong when you have equipment that have as much moving parts as the chopper has. It's good that your kids have not only the experience from being around the equipment everyday, but also having others like you and your husband to help in those areas. Good to see the family working together to do farming. I hope you all have a nice day and a good weekend as well.

It is interesting to see Kevin and Ethan troubleshoot. Fixing on the farm is just about a "given". Thank you for sharing your day(s). . . . "Keep on keeping on." 😊

Hi guys, another great video. Break downs are the worst at harvest time but at least you can fix most things yourself, that is a very important skill , especially if it is on Sundays or holidays. You can save a lot of money too. Please make sure you save some chores for the new son in law😂, take care.🇨🇦👍

.... there are definite spots where you be going downhill because the up-hill choice is just asking for problems and when stuck and trying to pick it up on a hill is a candidacy for breakage .... just like a car going up a grade and will not notice it is there, but the cyclist knows it with every peddle pump .... noticing that Kevin is more so asking Ethan what the next step is or how he wants to tackle a task, obviously has been going on for a while, I was just really aware of it today .. thx for the share .. as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans ....

Kevin always with a smile. Well most always. When y'all going to upgrade to one of those Deere 1000 horsepower 12 row choppers? They have all the bells and whistles that tell you what is wrong. Just kidding... That machine looks like it does a good job and they ALL break down from time to time. You run machinery with all your senses. Ears eyes and nose can tell you things when a sensor won't. Please tell Ethan to shut that engine down when he is doing something like that. I know it wasn't running but still shut it down. I used to do that until a neighbor almost got killed trying to unclog the head on a peanut combine. I have made it a habit now when working on equipment in the field. The year is fast coming to a close so best wished this fall season A fan from Georgia...
