Glad to see my little gear jammer back, she drives that red truck like she stole it. I'm 74 years old with no grandkids, if I had some I would be honored if they were just like yours. Rhonda you and Kevin have done a bang-up job with those youngsters!

I remember dad planting sorghum with silage corn in the spring. When it was ready to harvest, he would cut open a stalk of sorghum and it tasted sweet; quite the novelty for an eight year old. I thought our 35 foot silo was tall until one of mom's brothers had a 60 footer erected. Thanks for the camera shots and the sights and sounds of chopping corn silage. Keep on truckin'.

It's wonderful to see McKenize driving like a true trucker and she's EXTREMLEY COMFORTABEL with driving the tandem and I can't wait to see handing the Volvo and the Chopper like the true champion that she's growing up to be , and next is my boy Sanders who's already on his way to being an expert at whatever his hearts desires

The only thing better than watching corn chopping is watching you and the family corn chopping, you really do make the most out of limited personnel when it happens, Sanders is not quite ready for pushing up?, Ethan may be a man of few words but that smile and his eyes say plenty, Mackenzie as always is very comfortable on camera and driving, today for the first time I heard her sound just like you, probably missed it before, no surprise of course thank you for sharing this wonderful chapter of your farm

Great video! Cool you got 3 different ride alongs. Really never a dull moment on the farm! Especially during harvest season. McKenzie seemed very pleased to be back in her tandem Freightliner truck. It's a neat "system" you have with Sanders driving the trucks in the fields while you or McKenzie or Ethan drive the loads back to the farm.

Great video, as is your norm ! You, your son and that lovely daughter were ROCKIN’ IT !!! , when it came to running those trucks ! Being a retired truck-driver, I always admire hearing one go through the gears without grinding, just nice smoooooth shifts ! Great farm operation you all have there !

I could watch the corn flowing into that kemper head for hours. kind of like raking hay or plowing, it just keeps flowing.

You folks are going at alittle slower pace than the large dairy I've been helping again this year, they are alittle over a 1/3 of the way through 4400 acres! I believe the plan is to put a 3rd chopper in the field tomorrow if enough truck drivers can be found! I still have to watch your videos even though I'm tired, be safe!!

Great video Rhonda. One thing about switching from the truck to the chopper you don't get bored doing the same thing. Don't believe it'll take McKenzie long to learn how to use the chopper. When you said in the video, the guys are going to get tired of meat and potatoes . . . then of course not, they always love meat and potatoes. That comment is such an analogy of life in those modern times, they are not going to complain because it's good food, they worked a hard and an hunger is utmost on their mind. The nation is so idle and soft that they have nothing better to do than complain, it just struck me that way today. Cheers.
