The second painting gave me strong art deco/ Poirot vibes.

The slight "bronziness" of the black paint actually gives the second painting a very metallic effect, which I think is pretty cool.

The first painting reminds me of marigolds, which made me think of my mother for some reason. I really appreciate it when artists post work that they don't feel worked out, I think it is so helpful for younger artists, artists who lack experience or confidence to see that not everything works out the first time and that is how we learn.

The second one is one of my favorites I’ve ever seen. I actually love how the warm black worked. That brownish grey looked bone colored to me. It added to the macabre.

The design on that second piece is incredible! I'm not too familiar with acrylic pouring, so it was super interesting to see your process and hear you talk through both what you did and what you felt you did wrong... very cool!

Thats a very interesting technique. I never thought that a sink strainer would be used as an artist tool. Very cool.

The Goth painting is really great. Thanks for doing an example of the strainer pours. I've had some videos about them popping up in my recommendations lately but hadn't looked into the technique yet.

The second painting reminds me of the episode of MTV's Fear in the old asylum - the one with the round room with multiple doors going different places. I really like it! But I'm not going to lie; I like the first one too.

First painting looked like many transparent colors. Retry with opaque or semi opaque and it will look much better. You can also add in some varnish to thicken it up

First one was ok, it kinda looked like a blue flame. May be improved with googly eyes. But that second one is definitely gorgeous! Its like a strange cut of a marble rock. Something that hasn't seen the light of day in millennia.

Maybe you could look into getting or making some sort of Lazy-Susan turntable and use the spin instead of the tilt to get a more uniform look out of these more "radial" pieces.

Next sink tool idea: Pour paint down a garbage disposal in the center of a tube-like enclosure! Watch the hands! You don't want blood as paint! ... This might be a bad idea, just scratch that.

Something about the second one makes me think of a deep sea creature, with its maw open carefully waiting for it's clueless prey to come swimming in. I actually don't think the first one is that bad, although certainly not your asthetic. I am sure there is someone who would be really into it though.

I think the artist's loft paints try a lil quicker because they have a gloss medium mixed in, but on average? Dry to the touch in a couple days, full cure in a few weeks.

You can do it on a budget if you research it; the main issue is if you have a failed pour and have to redo it, which happens in fluid art sometimes. Always gotta have a plan B.
