Need more govt to licence these retrofit providers to minimise emissions and less scraps. Old vehicle convert to battery or hybrid is good move. Pure ev is on begining stage. Meanwhile these type of modifications helps to reduce fuel costs.

I have been using my Mahindra flite converted to Hybrid. Using only battery mode mostly. You can add a rear carrier to keep the the battery and utilise the boot space as it is.. This kit will fit most of the 10 inch wheeled scooters in India...

i have an hybrid Activa running from past 1.5 years. i have converted it myself. have driven more than 5000 kms. highly economical. suggest everyone to go with hybrid models. it costed me around 50k for converting it to hybrid

Concept idea is "old wine in a rum bottle":- Two points like didn't impress a) 2 Wheeler petrol drive would have to carry additional weight with the setup of hybrid (means >> mileage due to weight). b) 2 Wheeler EV drive would have to carry additional burden of petrol engine/fuel and other stuff (means >> mileage of EV range due to extra weight). This means we might always feel a hang over on the pickup or (torque) in city conditions on stop and start (it's "double whammy")

We will arrange a test ride one day to public. Please come feel the difference. It will be just addition of 18 kg. And will not bring much difference. The idea is to keep the journey ON instead of full stop for charging. Brother most of them don't know how it feels the discharge of battery in Medical emergency. We have experienced it Belive me it is not good.

Just to add the little info about petrol Engines efficiency. It is just 35 to 40%, but we still keep using it. It is better to stop these polluting scooter with little compromise on electric power loss in carrying extra weight. By the way our motor is 90% efficient.

Price of LFP battery of 48 volt 30 Ah ranges from 27 k to 35 k depends on brand. Not sure if they can give this kit with battery for 35 K. If they can beat at this price every petrol vehicle owner will be interested...

Though interesting I fear how this even turns out in real life , because just imagine in case of any mishap , you will have double impact because you will have battery and petrol and if battery starts burning then I wonder how safety part will be taken care of as from the images it shows that battery will be placed right beside petrol tank .

All safety measures will be taken care from the start of the design to production. Safety is the priority. And it will be followed with new norms from ARAI. Minimum 1 lack km testing will be done before launch.

In science we have concept called Entropy. This means what ever we make there is disturbance in the environment and it cannot be reversed. So we are trying to reduce the carbon emissions with electric vehicle rather burning fuel to. travel. Earning is a reward for our efforts.

CO2 emission factor for generating 1 unit of electricity in a coal plant is 0.82kWh, by burning 1 litre petrol it is 2.33kWh. 1unit=25km range=0.82kg CO2 400ml petrol=25km range=0.93 kg of CO2. Reduction in CO2 emission is 0.11 kg CO2. Where has it costs 7Rs per unit n 40-50Rs for petrol. So emphasising on cost reduction will be meaningful

Local i mean some time People push under standard cells considering all cells are same to perform just ignoring manufacturing standards and safety is also compromised. this is also done to keep the price tag low Branded cells are far costlier than local cells, so it also means quality comes with Price. we at Marlin are trying our best to keep the public safe, and we mean that. we like the comment from your side, we want public to learn the technology, this will help them to buy Quality product

No govt can ban the vehicle all of the sudden. We have 1.25 crore new vehicle added every with new vehicle launch. The govt can't ban soo soon. For atleast next 10 years. Infact the Hybrid proposal is from Govt under FAME scheme

Boot capacity is really compromised as we see the safety of the Battery first. As far as risk is concern we will go through all scenarios of possibility of fire and prevent it in our design

This cost mentioned is in including battery pack and Hybrid system. The insurance cost is 4% extra to the existing insurance

There isn't any issue getting it installed on our bikes The product seemed to be wow 😳 But have few queries too 1-In case what If it's gonna damage other parts of the vehicle bcoz of getting modifications Will the company gonna take the assurance of it? 2-What if any EV battery gets drain and have any fire accident (as we making it an hybrid ) and cause an huge loss to vehicle or an owner while driving the vehicle Will the company be responsible for it?

The product we developed is never going to replace the original equipment. It designed to be fitted over and above the existing system.there is no modification on the scooter. So it is no way going to damage the scooter. As we said we will test the vehicle for all safety parameters.

Interested in what is seen here. For that question are 1) Is battery Li ion or While dri Li Phosphate ? 2) While driving swiching from E to P or vice versa is without stopping ( seems, yes ) ? 3) Staioned where, T Nadu? E-vehicles are environment friendly because electricity is mostly produced from ...coal...the most environment friendly fuel known to man....we can in fact call them coal vehicles instead of e-vehicles
