I was looking one Active Pressure Washers website trying to get some more info on the new Active 2.0 pressure washer. While I was there, I noticed that they had foam cannons as well. I don't know how I didn't find that out sooner, but as soon as I saw it I placed my order so I could check it out. They offer the same foam cannon in two variations, one is Brass and the other is Stainless Steel. I open them up and check out the internals, how serviceable it is, and most importantly... How much foam does it produce? Enjoy!!!

Nice video. You can get very nice flexible tubing at any tropical fish stores which they use for the air pumps and replace it with th original tubing. I'm sure it will work and perform well

Great video as usual. Tool Daily has a foam cannon that's less than $25 (2022) and has a lot of the features you like: plastic on plastic threads, wide-mouth bottle, and vertical/horizontal adjustments. I've been using one for almost a year and love it! Here is the description on Amazon since KZfaq doesn't like posting links: Tool Daily Foam Cannon, 1/4 Inch Quick Connect, Power Washer Foam Cannon with 5 Pressure Washer Nozzles,1 Liter I'm not sure what orifice it has, I swapped it with a 1.1mm that I had and didn't see any real difference, so it may have the 1.1mm installed already. Curious what you think.

Nope. Looks like it performed well in the price category. I wonder if they will sell the 2.0 with this cannon, short wand, and a longer hose. It would be a DIY detailing killer.

I like your channel thank you for sharing lot of useful info. Just a question, Why pay for fancy packaging, if the units arrive safe I would refrain from net picking and focus more on the positive. Lot viewers feel they have to find something wrong. Again this is only my observation, I may be wrong.

Excellent review. I just purchased the Active 2.0. Sounds like the MJJC is the way to go but I am so confused by all of the MJJC options. Which MJJC Pro should I buy that will fit the Active 2.0? Happy to purchase through you site. Thanks!

Is it possible to disassemble and modify the base of a foam cannon from a narrow neck to a wide neck unit by frankensteining two cannons into one? I saw one once with both bottle size connection options but it underperformed at creating foam.

Come on Josh! it's obvious you like the MJJC a lot. But...be fair, your application sweeps are MUCH slower with the MJJC as opposed to the ACTIVE. I'd ay they are the same if swept fairly. Just bought an ACTIVE for 29.99 on amazon. Best deal out there IMO.

I do my best to be as fair as possible in all my videos. I like the active but after using more than just in the video it definitely does t get as much foam as the mjjc, mtm, or griots boss

Do you think its worth pre ordering? I'm using a 1600 psi 1.2gpm Ryobi right now and looking forward to the Active. Don't see myself going Kranzle territory anytime soon lol.

@@tacoeatinmonkey Honestly don't know. I'll let you know when I get it, hopefully mid to late August. I had the Simonize brand, the original to the ve model they sell. But returned it, before even using it due to known issues. And waited for this to release.

I have the MJJC Cannon, but with this particular one, I rather have the Amazon Basics foam cannon. Practically the same thing but the Amazon one is cheaper, and even has brass on brass and not brass on plastic screwing the nozzle in with a softer plastic tube. It just seems the Amazon one with have better longevity.

the active foam cannon looks damn near identical to the sunjoe foam cannon. the only difference i can see is the sunjoe has a round body to get to the filter but everything else is identical.

The small mouth opening is a deal breaker. Metal to plastic as well. Pretty disappointed in Active on this one. Let's just hope the 2.0 is better. I'm planning on buying one of those bad boys.

Looks to foam well, but there's no way I would spend the $50 on a foam cannon that has a small mouth opening, metal on plastic threading, and inflexible tube. People should just spend another $15 for a Griot's Brilliant Finish foam cannon or $40 for a Griot's BOSS or MJJC Pro. Or better yet just spend $20-25 for a Sooprinse foam cannon.

I know you dont like this but the 20 dollar canon I picked up a few weeks ago is 10000x nicer than this one. Best fat mouth cup out of any foam canon at any price point to.. plus its a fat mouth nozzle that swivels 360.

Hi how’s it going? I didn’t delete any comments. Someone just wrote me on my Instagram about the new chemical guys pressure washer and I have it on order! Excited to try it out. The ratings are a little weird and remind me of a sunjoe which aren’t super accurate but I’m curious to see how it performs
