No matter how talented you are, it’s your soft skills that guarantee a life-long career. In an industry that is so small and Artists are referred to studios, your reputation matters the most. No amount of technical skills will fix someone’s asshole behavior.
It’s refreshing that someone with decades of experience in recruitment like Robin Alan Linn agrees. Robin has been working as Activision Blizzard’s Executive Principal Recruiter for Art in Animation and Creative for decades!

Great clip. The "no jerks" philosophy is shared by many industry leaders, which is great to see, and I think it's the most effective way to turn studio reputations around. It's common for juniors to not clearly note what they did on a shot, which gives them shot-stealing reputations even if they might not mean to, and it's a shame. Of course, there are also flat-out thieves out there, which is as stupid a strategy as it gets.
