Man I hate Activision. Everyone says that Ubisoft or EA are the worst companies but really I think it's Activision hands down. They keep ruining all these franchises ( Crash Bandicoot, Spongebob, ect.) The only franchises they care about is Call of Duty and Skylanders because they make such huge bank off them every year. Also I agree with the ending segments of the video. While I do enjoy playing realistic games every now and then, (I'm really enjoying The Evil Within) I really do miss the colorful, fun, zany, and cartoony games that were so prevalent back in the day. Those were the kind of games I played growing up and I can still have a ton of fun with those kinds of games.

I miss the days where video games were unrealistic. That's what made gaming back then fun. Now it's basically a competition to see which game has the most realistic looking graphics and gameplay that follows the laws of physics, since that's all most people care about in gaming these days.

So, a company manages to make not only one of the best Spongebob games, or best licensed games, but one of the best games for the xbox/gc/ps2 ever and they don't get to make its sequel? That sucks.

Sadly, considering that Activision is ignoring Crash Bandicoot petitions, they most likely would ignore SpongeBob petition too.

Heavy Iron Studios doesn't deserve to get replaced. They made great games, and apparently Activision would rather make quick, cheap bucks rather than a GOOD game that could possibly make more money than anticipated.

If Heavy Iron Studios were involved with the new game based on the new movie, here's what I think it should've been. Make the gameplay like The Spongebob Squarepants Movie where it plays like Battle for Bikini Bottom but linear like the movie with something new stuff into the mix, include DLC, unlockable costumes, upgrades, HD Graphics, facial expresions in cutscenes and play as Spongebob and Mr. Krabs in the first act of the game, then Spongebob and Plankton, in Plankton's perspective, it should be him and no mech suit and play in a small perspective like Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the rescue for the computer, Playstation, and N64, and the last act play as everyone. After beating the game, you could play as any character one any level like Patrick in Spongebob's brain. Also in place of Mindy, we'll have Karen. We'll have upgrades, new moves from each character, which can be either unlocked or purchesed, whatever you think it's a good idea, and the last two levels will have the part where you play as the characters as superheroes. Instead of Golden Spatula and Goofy Goober Tokens, you collect weird triangle eyeball thingies. It's that part of the necklace that Bubbles Wears around his Neck. Here are the levels and bosses: Level One: War at The Krusty Krab (Boss 1: Plankton Mech) (Play as Spongebob or Mr. Krabs only) Level Two: We're Out Of Krabby Patties!?!?!? (Krusty Krab Freezer) (Play as Spongebob and Mr. Krabs) Level Three: Plankton....Innocent? As a reward for getting the game 100%, you get the part where the Seagulls and Burger Beard sing the Spongebob theme song and include the rap battle between Bubbles the Dolphin and the seagulls.

This sucks major ass, man. By the way, I could NOT stop laughing at the SomeCallMeJohnny cameo. xD

And they stopped giving a shit with Guitar Hero, all because they milked customers every few months with the next game! Clearly, Activision believes that we are dumb lab rats, and that we will buy anything they dish out. They think this will sell because of the brand name, and they think they can quarter ass it by using scrapped levels from Plankton's Robotic Revenge and calling that a new game! Kids deserve better than this!

The games from them that I want to talk about in this e-mail are their Spongebob games, being Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom, The Spongebob Squarepants Movie Game, and Spongebob Squarepants: Truth or Square. These games have received tons of praise, especially Battle for Bikini Bottom. Despite these being licensed games, the effort put into them is astonishing. With imaginative level designs, smooth gameplay, a fun fighting and platform system, and tons of charm, it's no wonder why these games are loved by not only Spongebob fans, by gaming fans in general. Knowing that you, Activision, are the current holders of the Spongebob gaming license, I, along with many others, have requested that you allow Heavy Iron Studios to make another Spongebob game. About a year ago, we've heard that you turned down their request. If there is any reason why you won't allow them to do so, I'd be happy if you told us why. To be quite frank with you, the most rescent Spongebob games that you have developed, Spongebob Squarepants: Plankton's Robotic Revenge and Spongebob Heropants, are... garbage, to put it bluntly. The reason why we want Heavy Iron Studios to develop new Spongebob games is because they put lots of time and planning into their games, especially the Spongebob games. No offense, but lately, the games that you have been making are unoriginal, repetitive, and lazy piles of code that were only made in a short time so that you could sell them to unsuspecting kids and parents. This is very apparent in Spongebob Heropants. There is no original music, all the levels feel way too similar (with only new coats of paint), and worst of all, the gameplay. All you do is mash the button, and maybe use a special attack every once in a while. It's so mind-numbing, that it's no wonder why everyone hates this mess of a game. So what are we, the Spongebob and video game fans, trying to say here? You are not only ruining Spongebob's reputation in the gaming community, but you are also ruining your own reputation, Activision. Just found out the heavy iron studios spongebob games have a fanbase... Really glad about that... battle for bikinibottom is one of my favorite platformers. Now, if only Activision gave those rights to heavy iron... but at the moment I am just glad people care at least. I would love a hd remaster of the old games and/or a sequel.

Ya know. At least THQ actually cared about the SpongeBob games. The reason why Battle for Bikini Bottom happened was because Revenge of The Flying Dutchmen didn't do so well so they hired Heavy Iron to see what they could do. I just don't understand why THQ didn't let them make more (Except for Truth or Square) They probably could've made the rest of SpongeBob games even better, and make it an even more popular franchise.
