People often forget that there are soooo many variables affecting cost when buying a vehicle -- dealer fees, taxes, interest rates, buyers credit score, cash equity, etc all gonna be different for everyone. I picked up an ITS last month and man, what a pain car buying has become. Dealer in Delray tried to hit me with 15K adm + 4200 in add-ins.... O.O looool. Had to fight tooth and nail to get to MSRP and 1K add-ins (don't be afraid to just say NO or WALK! they're more scared to lose that sale). Glad you got MSRP. Enjoy the ride...she's a beast ✌

But I already have a manual 2018 Subaru STI that's paid off and wanted the TLX Type S as my AWD daily driver since I live in New England. I bought my Wife a 2022 Lexus RX350 f-sport back in 2022 mid size SUV and I was able to get 3.5% interest on that. My payment for hers is $700. Goes to show how much interest rates have gone up in the pass 2 yrs, even with my perfect credit. Whats mind boggling for me is some of the comments here. Where a grown man is trying to tell another grown man how he should have spent his money or how he should have bought a BMW or Audi instead. Sh!t laughable. Guarantee these are the so call grown men that live in their mom's basement and all they have that is worth any value are their little cars.

@@cybernutjr2 😂 yea most of those ppl probably never drove any cool cars, the bmw and Audi comments are crazy cuz any comparable BMW or Audi is like 20k more with like a 5 year shelf like 😂. I’d never buy a performance BMW to keep, those things look cool but that’s about it. The Hondas are much more balanced and will last 3 to 4 times as long as the BMW/Audi. Not to mention depreciation.

I started wanting this car last March when I heard it was coming and saw the one they had wrapped in car Camo, then on May 11th when they went live looking for deposits for the first 200 cars, I almost got on the list but did the math and found out, I need a huge down payment to afford this car, so I made a plan and started saving. Along the way I found you, watched you go to the various FL dealers and saw how that all played out, then I finally had 17k in cash saved up so I went for it, actually started with a liquid carbon, I was going to buy it but the car had 144 miles on it and that didn't sit well with mem, so I backed out, We got our own financing through our credit union, they had quoted us 9% but once they ran everything came back at us with 5,75% and we discovered our 620 credit was actually 740, lol, nice surprise. The dealers always make money on the finance so we knew the dealer would likely add a few points to it, I was prepared to ask for the "buy sheets" and that would show me exactly what the lender offered before the dealer added their cut but turns out I didn't need to go that route because our bank was willing to lend us the money. I enjoyed your journey almost as much as my own. So we got splash guards, door visors and locking lug nuts as part of the deal, and I ordered on the side outside of the deal, back seat protectors, a trunk tray and valve stem caps, that I am going to pay $300 for in cash on Friday when I go to take delivery of the car. I haven't picked up the car yet and I have an appointment for Tint next Monday and then I am going back for paint prep two weeks later when I will then apply ceramic coating myself to the car. Some of the most rewarding car buying fun I have ever had. Enjoy your ride man. Too bad we are so far apart, Id come hang and compare the cars and make a video with you.

@@moonrockschopshop Tire package is a great warranty to keep and it doesn't cost much. Those rims and tires are expensive.
