@@TheCriminalViolin Stuff like this still happens. Chuma Okeke tore his ACL against UNC, who were a top seed and had bad luck of their own, as they were down with flu that they caught from their previous round opponent. Now getting blown out by Okeke and Auburn, when it was clear that he was done for the game and heading to the locker room, the UNC starters rushed to him to console and show respect.

Watching that UCLA game triggers my emotions since I grew up in Spokane and watched Gonzaga build their team into a national championship contender. I can't watch them anymore though as I get too emotional myself. Spokane is a great city, one of the best cities in the world in my humble opinion, if you grew up there you know. And we loved our basketball. Watching them give away that game is so heartbreaking. For some reason we always tend to underplay when we have so much skill. Always getting deep into the tourney and losing big games, whether it's the sweet 16, the elite 8, or the championship game. We always get so deep in the tourney and then lose, most often to teams that we should have beat. Anyway, Adam is a Spokane kid at the end of the day, for that, and his success, and for repping the great city, much love

I remember after that 2006 run I was so invested, every Thursday and Saturday night in 2006/7 I didn't leave the house, I would stay at home and watch the game with my Dad... Crazy that 15 years late the Zags are #1 seed! I know Gonzaga gets a ton of hate thrown their way, but man we have come so far.

I honestly think had he not torn his knee up/gotten drafted by a good organization he would’ve had a really good career. As a Zag fan I agree. Number one issue and reason the zags will never win a Natty while he is the head coach.

@@rustyshackleford9017 until he learn to recruit guards like Nigel Williams-Goss instead of the Josh Perkins and Kevin Pangos' of the world. PASS FIRST guards instead of three-jacking, turnover machines.

Naw Batista literally is to blame...bad foul, careless turnover, and terrible last shot. UCLA was absolutely loaded with NBA talent, Gonzaga had no business having the lead.

What Mark Few said is true about his unorthodox style game. I played against him in high school. He played for Mead I played for Rogers. Not gonna sugar coat it he was a goofy looking kid with hunched shoulders and ran very strange. But he was a baller. He would make shots from everywhere, all over the floor. Very kind of unoticeable but just consistently strong and good. At the end of the game he'd have like 25-30 points and you'd think how the heck did he do that. But overall he had a disappointing NBA career sadly.
