Adaptive Matrigma Ascend from Assessio is a logical reasoning test with geometric figures called matrices. There are two types of matrigma tests by Assessio, Adaptive Matrigma(Ascend) and the Classical Matrigma.
In this video, we delve into the Adaptive Matrigma Ascend test by Assessio. a recruitment assessment developed by Assessio. The Matrigma test evaluates candidates' cognitive abilities, specifically their problem-solving skills and general intelligence. The purpose of this video is to provide you with a comprehensive set of questions to help you prepare for the Matrigma test.
This is one type of test used by all Swedish companies when recruiting. If you want to get a job in Sweden, you have to get a good score on these tests. Luckily, the questions of the test by Assessio are from the same selection. My videos will allow you to study these reoccurring questions to be called for a job interview by getting the highest score on the test.

So on Question 8, there are two possible answers: 1) Answer 4 like you have, this is based on the logic that every row has one grey, one black, and one white, and same for every column. It also assumes there is no relevance to either rectangle being on top/bottom. 2) Answer 6, if we assume diagonal logic is allowed. this would assume that when you look from top right to bottom left (starting from the left corner) that the diagonals are all the same. Then one can assume the next pattern would be the inverse of the second diagonal (horizontal rectangle being white and verticle rectangle being black) which would place say that it should be a horizontal black rectangle and a vertical white rectangle). I believe Answer 4 also makes sense, but can we then conclude that 'diagonal logic' isnt really something used in Matrigma? Because both could make sense.

Great questions!!! I don't know why I have become the pope of Matrigma but I will try my best! (The answer to your actual question is last). If you would like then you can email me at capybarapens@gmail.com, and I can help you even if i disappear from youtube (due to copyright or inactivity since I have a full-time job lol) Firstly, I will explain the question about diagonal logic some other time but in these matrigms tests made by the company, it seems that they rarely use that type of logic. Other companies use diagonal logic all the time so it really is on a company per company basis. Diagonal logic is used in matrigma but depends on the test and who made it. Different tests from different creators range from super easy to insanely difficult (with some questions being too open-ended). It seems almost all questions on the tests created by the company Assessio, they use either row logic, column logic, or both. The diagonal logic seems to just try to trick you on some questions. On some poorly made questions ( the triangle with dots and lines) they seem to even use a holistic approach lol. However 99% of the questions use the same matrigma logic concepts as all matrigma tests. They are found below in no particular order 1) Color change 2) Number change 3) Number of Shapes 4) Combination of cells (subtract/addition of things that overlap) 5) Rotation and movement 6) Folding, and symmetry 7) Flipping/mirroring Regarding Question 8, you are 100% correct. I will think about it and look in the old raven matrices books from 1950 that these questions were copied from to see if we are overthinking it or not. I have the *EXACT* same feeling as you, but I can't shake the feeling that we are overthinking it. My gut says 6 but my heart says 4. If it is 6 then we would break the row logic, and the whole question goes out the window.

Jag är just nu utomlands i Asien pågrund av jobbet och har därför inte tillgång till bra internet. Jag kan definitivt göra en video där jag förklarar exakt hur man ska resonera så fort jag får en ledig stund över. Massor av företag använder de här testerna för rekrytering och mitt mål är att göra så att ni får övertaget över dessa företag. De flesta skriver att de vill ha alla korrekta svar, time-stamps, hur man resonerar, etc, och jag är jätteglad över er feedback. Om du har mer feedback så är du jättevälkommen att skriva så kommer jag försöka göra så mycket jag kan. Jag har inte uppnått youtube partner status så jag kan därför inte få något för dessa videos. Detta är tyvärr en "välgörenhets" grej jag gör på fritiden för er skull. Jag hoppas ni har överseende med att jag kan vara lite långsam.

Question 5 (02:06) The last square in the row is a "combination cell" where two previous squares are combined into 1 square. - If there are 2 dots of the same color opposed then those 2 dots will cancel out and dissappear. - If there is no dot then that dot will be added.

Can you explain about 10:20 - Question 23, Please

Question 23 (10:20) - Each column has 2 figures pointing in the same direction and the third figure pointing in a perpendicularly. The only possible directions would be left or up (but we dont have any triangles pointing up in the solutions, which leaves only left pointing triangles) --> Solutions so far 2, 3, 6 - Each row has 2 figures of the same shape pointing in different directions. The only shapes in this case would be triangle with dot or triangle with 2 lines (We dont have any triangle with dots in the solutions, which leaves only triangle with 2 lines) --> *The correct solution should be 6*
