You did a great job! I appreciate the homey vibe and your can do attitude. I was looking for similar aeats but I can't find anything worth getting on eBay. Maybe i will go to a scrap yard!

the factory cuts on the carpet are H shaped and the flaps are tucked under the latch bars

That makes a lot of sense. Without those plastic trim pieces that are adhered in from factory, the latch mechanism tends to hang up a little on the carpet where I cut it. Could be fixed by removing a little more material from the carpet or what i do is just reach in there and help the latch along works fine. That’s a good idea though to make it look less like a 3rd grader did it.

By the way factory third row seats are not leather, it’s softer vinyl. It’s mis leading from GM / Chevy catalog .I know cause I have the same vehicle, and for the price you paid it’s definitely not leather
