No, they attach behind the tail lights.

I’m surprised there isn’t a mod to where you can lock the rear diff manually.. I guess not enough people care to do that with these?

If you are in rock mode the diffs are always locked. It unlock if need to make a sharp turn. I use it al the time when i towing trailer. If i back up slippery hill with a turn, the centre diff unlocks and rear diff is locked and you have amazing traction when reversing through the hill. Fantastic system.

Can you substantiate that the crawl ratio of the L322 is any different than the LR3 or are you just saying things out-loud hoping they come true? I've never heard this and I think the LR3 would stomp on the L322 off-road.

Few days after purchasing my 2007 L322 4.2SC i had similar situation with front radiators. The got damaged by big chunks of ice. I was pushing via frozen water, like I always do with my 110 defender, but forgot that L322 is different car. After replacing 5 or 6 radiators and coolers (had no idea that there are so many of them) car works without any issues. Also, get some underbody protection, plastic oil pan asks for trouble :) I kept my overland equipped defender, but i prefer to use L322 for weekend escapes. As for rear diff, it works also in muds&ruts without low range engaged. At least in mine :) kzfaq.info/get/bejne/js6lesuZrsCpd4k.htmlsi=zATOEXxnEm0RUE-A&t=464 here is in my car. On higway speed with 19 inch rims with Pirelli Scorpion AT Plus 255/55R19 im getting 14l/100km or 16mpg also. City is different :)

I’ve heard that you can use l405 front armor if you install it backwards on an l322
