Trevor saw alcohol abuse from an early age. He started experimenting and eventually started using heroin. This is his story of recovery!

Thank you for your story especially bringing up the sleep thing with opiates. Yes withdrawal is like a flu times ten, but the added bonus of crippling depression anxiety dysphoria and NO SLEEP.

~Lars... To answer your question... Usually it's someone who has never been addicted or absolutely doesn't have it in their blood to have an addictive personality.

The only thing about this interview is when he said the stigma of shame, guilt and embarrassment. Then he said he was embarrassed of his mother. Glad he's sober and doing so well. Still a lot of trauma there with his mom. I hope he can heal that and I hope she decides it's fine to get help. Praying for her🙏

Trevor is a great example that shows heroin addicts aren't necessarily stupid...he's very well spoken and has had a broad exposure to addiction

I remember the chewy OPs. So glad i am done with that but now my 22 yr old son is in treatment for fentanyl. I am praying to God for help. I really blame the government who is in bed with big pharma. Now people are dying left and right

The kvetching about "stigmitization" misses the point about why that attitude exists: to keep normal people away from drugs like heroin in the first place

Personally methadone is the obly thing that has worked with fentanyl. Its really not for everybody but i was taking a litany of meds. And i have control somewhat but i know i have to ween off eventually.

Richard Prado only did fentanyl a few times. I used the blotters. Coming off subutex was the worst drawn out experience of my life. Took about a year to feel normal again
