Hi Jay: Since your ST1000 is a Stereo Music Center - There are Stereo Input Jacks on the back of the unit. Did you use a 3.5mm input jack cables with Stereo (right and left channel) RCA plugs on the other end? This is a great and easy upgrade to your ST1000 - Well Done! - Chris

It is technically possible to due what you're asking about, however there are many challenges to do it. You will have to do the following: 1. Create an AC to DC Power Supply (it has to be compatible with the available AC voltage from the intercoms transformers) 2. Install a regulated DC USB Power Supply with an isolated ground 3. Add the Bluetooth to the Master - connecting to both power and the audio input. Since the Bluetooth Receiver has a Stereo Output, it has to be converted to a Mono signal. 4. Create some way to access the controls on the Bluetooth Receiver (without having to open the Master Station each time) so sources can be paired or deleted as needed. While all of these steps are possible (I have made several samples of this using off the shelf assemblies), it is beyond the scope of what most people can deal with. Chris

Hi Waleed: There is a "signal input" adjustment pot next to each auxiliary input jack. This allows the signal input form different devices to be fine tuned. Normally these adjustments are already set to maximum. The adjustment pot only turn about 3/4 of 1 turn - so care must be taken to not over rotate the pot. Normally, if the sound level is lower on the auxiliary input - either the audio source level is set to low - or you can increase the "System Volume" adjustment on the Master Station - Chris

+shellpie1 : Hi, First, there isn't any NuTone Model Number that's a IM3300. If you have a IM3303 there are 2 auxiliary input jacks, they are labeled as CD/Tape and Aux. If you have a IM3003 they are also 2 auxiliary input jacks, they are labeled as Tape and Phono. You can consult the Installation Manual for either model to see where the actual RCA input jacks are located on the back the either Master Station. Thanks Chris

+Jim W : If the RCA to 3.5 mm cable is run through the walls to the external audio source, then that's a fine way to make the connection. The purpose of adding the Audio Jack is to eliminate having a cable hang out of the Master Station all the time. Also, the is a practical limit of around 40' of audio cable that can be run between the Master Station and the external audio source. And, you can not really extend this distance by using some type of coax cable, this type of connection should only be done using shielded audio cable. The Phono input is balanced for the type of signal that is supplied by a phonograph, the CD/Tape input is balance for more modern devices. Thanks Chris
