Most of the marriage criticisms are from lonely and jealous people who enjoy judging others through a computer keyboard. No mater what path you choose there will be a group of Haters. Congrats on the Marriage, Child and this new adventure you have taken on. I am very happy for this new chapter in your life.

What you said is true But at the sametime... Those comments aren't really negative. They sound more concerning than anything else. Like anyone can be someone who they aren't for a short period of time. You also don't know if someone will be a good father or a good husband within that short of time as well. That's not really negative saying that because we aren't marrying the guy. Now it would be negative for me to say that I find it interesting that it's yet another Asian girl marrying a basic white guy, and from other guys she was interested in like the guy from CA. It seems as if that's what she's interested in. Personal looks doesn't lead to a happy marriage but you can call my opinion negative on that.

@@AsagisLifeNoBSJapan "but your opinion is based on A LOT of prejudice and assumptions" 🤔... Well if that alone gave me my opinion. You should understand where I'm coming from 👍 But it soli came from me walking out the door and speaking about what I see. Not to mention you yourself is a perfect example. There are a lot of Asian man that don't want to marry a person that is older or have kids with them. But white men are different. Not to mention how people in Asian countries see white men as people with high value in having a lot of money. Any other race they see them as a lower class. This is coming from a person that is mixed race.

The fact people have that kind of attitude is seriously creepy. Like those guys who turn into stalkers when their favorite idol/actress/whatever starts going out with someone. Since asagi is from Japan, where sh*t like that is pretty common, I'm sure that keeping all of this a secret crossed her mind a thousand times. Instead, she took a leap of faith and chose to put her trust in her followers, as if they were her best friends in life (such as the Chanel name), not only as a KZfaq persona, and that's how these guys react huh. I can't stop but wonder how shallow is someone else's feelings, for them to lash out at someone they never met and probably never will just because she is taking a decision she made about her own life. It may end up good, it may end up bad? Who knows, but, as someone who is in "Asagi's Life" the best we can do is to cheer for the best. That's what a nice human should do.

1. Japanese ladies traditionally married at 25, then it moved to 31. 2. Courtship in Japan was usually year(s) not months. 3. When you're an advisor (expert) on something, you attract critics. 4. Make your self a public figure (eg. on KZfaq) and critics x1,000 ! 5. Your life is your life, make the best of it. Being that I'm a American and my wife is Japanese and we've been married for 29 years, I think I come from a place of experience. First, the "traditional" view of women in Japan is that they are like Christmas Cake (if you lived there you'll get it) but that view has become more Oshogatsu (New Year's) Cake. Second is that traditional dating to marriage lengths in Japan was typically a long process that took year or more depending on the family (I dated mine for 3 years before the family approved), so when its only a few months then it will beg questions of family and friends. Third, when you brand yourself as a relationship advisor there is always going to be criticism of just that alone (not even considering the first and second points). And finally fourth, you're on KZfaq! What do you expect, blanket praise, support and love? You made your life public and people that make their lives public are going to get negativity. My wife and I live very quiet lives and as such no drama. We aren't famous to anyone (except our child and the grandchildren) or rich, nor would we ever want to be. Everyone sacrifices certain things in order to gain other things in life, the idea that you can have it all is a false ideology. I can only speak from my frame of reference as a American who lived in Japan for seven years, loved it for it's rich history, culture and people (both the good and the bad) as much my wife has of things that are American. So in conclusion, if you don't want criticism then make your life private. You will still have to deal with the neighborhood housewives but that is also life in Japan (I bet he doesn't know that yet right?). Just live, love and make it the best life you can and accept what becomes of it.

🤔The problem with some human beings is that they are not aware of their surroundings. They blindly believe that everything close to them is the whole world with all its details and intricacies. But not. Most of the time, it's just a couple of blocks from them houses and a very small group of so-called friends on Facebook. It is the mania that most people have these days, to make categorical criticisms with a very small portion of information. They are capable of making a fictional trilogy if they set their minds to it. But the truth is that as detectives, this type of person would starve to death. Everyone has their reasons and motives, especially when making decisions as important as marriage. Those who criticize will never know if they don't live it in their own flesh.

There are also a lot of guys in general who just have a thing for Asian women which is called "yellow fever". I can guarantee you most of the people criticizing you or leaving fall into those categories. Getting married shattered whatever fantasy they had about you, or they're simply unhappy because they want you to remain single and "available". I have learned that as far as relationships one should be very careful to generalize. Every person is different as so are relationships. You can meet someone who seems to be a perfect match, take your time and get to know them before tying the knot and it can still all fall apart eventually. People do change. Then sometimes you can meet someone for the first time you just know it is the right one... What's important is to listen to those close to you and at least consider what they tell you, don't let your relationship isolate you from family and your social circle and never get too comfortable. It's a constant nurturing that's needed to keep a happy marriage. Good luck!

I have just diescovered your chanel. I do follow some YTUBE channels focused in Japan. I know that I am late to the party. But as I have gotten older (60+ years), I have realized that you can get to know somebody very well within a couple of months. My experience is that the vast majority of people (men and women) are solid steady individuals. Your antenna can pick out sociopaths. As I have gotten older, I am now of the opinion that long courtships are detrimental to having a long-lasting marriage. Long courtships are an excuse to do nothing in a relationship. The most important thing is if both sides to be married and make a life with someone. That determines the success of a marriage, not the length of your courtship. Keep up the good work.

I wouldn't say it's shrinking, I think your viewers are switching from quantity to quality. I personally started to watch you more and more lately exactly because of you sharing your life with us. Isn't it sad how people just hate on international relationships? I'm in one with a Japanese person so boy I heard it all already, all the judgement and prejudice and stereotypes so I get it can be frustrating but I'm trying to take an example from you and try to not get bothered by it. If you are in an international relationship I learned that you just can't listen to people because you will have people all in your business for some reason. I still struggle with our cultural and mindset differences so I'm trying to watch people who are also in international relationships because other people will just not understand how different it is. Thank you for adressing these issues, it gives people like me courage and hope.

Congratulations on your marriage! Don't worry or listen to the haters. Many people think they have a high moral ground and use that to judge others when in actuality they are being petty. You should just do what makes you happy as your life is yours alone. If people start listening to everyone ans care for what every single person says, we'd just suffocate and live with regrets. Just be happy and live life without regrets. Hope you have a wonderful married family life ahead!

If they unsub simply because you got married and will start a family, they weren't truly here for you. For me personally, yes I understand where they're coming from, but I've heard stories of people getting married almost immediately because it just felt right. Sometimes the relationship last, sometimes it doesn't. I always hope things work out regardless and that the couple will be happy together. We don't need more negativity in the world. Wishing you the best Asagi~

Now this is BS. The viewers were told out of nowhere of being pregnant for many months. Then told of the new guy and upcoming marriage. This would disqualify any person on giving advice on relationships. As it was presented in reverse. A bit like getting advice from a homeless person on house ownership. The viewers did not get to hear what made new guy so special to abandon common sense and what lowered her projected high standards. That is why viewers left.

My wife and I dated just a single month before getting engaged. We got married one month later. We are now 8 years into our marriage and life has never been better. There are no rules to relationships beyond what makes sense for you and your partner. No two people are alike, and so there will never be a one size fits all approach to love.

Those criticisms are kind of silly. Everyone is different and has different experiences and goals. For two people who know exactly what they want and are on the same wavelength in terms of future plans getting married quickly could very well be a great choice for them. While some people wouldn't be ready for marriage after 15 years of getting to know each other.
