Just wanted to say, I used to watch these videos when I had negative dollars in my bank account and couldn't afford anything to eat because I could trick myself into thinking I was enjoying a luxurious, fulfilling meal. I never dreamed I would ever have any amount of money enough to be able to actually enjoy a meal like these videos myself so this was the closest I thought I could ever get. Proud to say I am doing a lot better now and just had my first Omakase meal this past year. I hope to have the privilege someday to actually eat at one of the places from the videos I used to watch to stave off hunger. Thank you for these videos because they made a hard time in my life that much more tolerable!

@@jm12green31 I think he's more speaking about being afluent enough to be able to spend the money it takes to enjoy an experience like this without worry. Most people around the world will never have that kind of spare cash, and it is kind of wasteful, but for someone who had nothing I can understand appreciating having the capacity to indulge in such a meal. Most if not all of Aden's films aren't about value for money, they're about the experience of trying to achieve a certain kind of perfection, and there is a joy to that even for those of us for whom it's beyond. I'll likely never go to Japan let alone spend $400 on a meal that doesn't even fill me up, but I can appreciate the artistry on display.

Everything looked absolutely delicious, how lucky for all of us the chef allowed Aden to film the entire thing in his restaurant. The presentation, the attention to detail in each dish and the self-effacing hyper professional staff, all of it so typically Japanese! They are excellent at what they do because they love what they do, and it shows! Kaizen in its purest form!

One of my favorite videos. As someone who has worked in top michelin restaurant in europe as a cook, this has been a refreshing video. The style of the headchef is phenomenal but its the smile of the sommelier that will never leave me. Tender, friendly, inviting, sophisticated and yet so damn professional. I'd love to stage at this place if I spoke any japanese.

Long video for me as I’m time restricted so I’ll watch it in bits. Love reading the amazing comments. I love good food (here it’s 7 stars 🥳) & wine pairing but most of all I like watching the Chef, his confidence, dexterity and artful way. All the staff are working together as one. Apart from watching all this top produce I enjoy seeing the beautiful pottery. The whole film is so artistic. Amazing 💎 This display of humanity and beauty being in sharp contrast to the wars of this world 😔

The goal of the drink pourer is to make you spend money... I calculated she poured over $300 in drinks per person(of course prices vary depending on location). This is why, any smart bar owner will hire beautiful women to serve drinks. Let's be real, no man cares how good she is at her job... They just want eye candy.

From the start I could see it was a long presentation. Did not think that after a few minutes I would watch this non stop which I did. At this present time I cannot see myself dining at this restaurant due to lack of cash flow. If and when I am very fortunate to be able to do I would make a reservation. Here's hoping.
