The food always looks incredible on these vids(and it better given the cost.) The cleanliness of the cook top and everything else is impressive, just immaculate. I'd definitely want to have a lunch or dinner like this at least once. It seems like it would be a special experience.

Yeah whenever I see one of these videos or eat in a real teppanyaki place, it makes me sad that Rocky Aoki felt he had to turn it into a circus to get Americans to appreciate the performance/experience. I mean he was probably right, but it still bums me out that we got Benihana instead of the "real" teppanyaki experience in the US :(

これぞ日本式の鉄板焼き。 「焼く」という調理法をここまで美味しく、高級感が出せるのは日本ならではだと思います。 海外のエセ鉄板焼きはパフォーマンスばかりで肝心の料理がマズそう。 海外のバーベキューは良いですが、火の通りが雑で肉質も全然違うので肝心の味はこれの足元にも及んでいません。 野菜、海鮮、肉、果実に至るまで丁寧に調理し、フレンチのようなソースと盛り付けは世界中のどこに出しても誇れる料理ですね。

@@amazon6550 母国を褒めたら「ネトウヨ」とかどんな思考回路してんだろ。 確かに、最近一部大袈裟な日本上げテレビが出てきて懐疑的になるのは分かるけど 母国の良い部分を素直に良いと主張できない貴方みたいな人よりマシ。 それに母国の良い部分を一つも言えない人の方がその国のイメージが下がるだろうよ。 何でもかんでも「ネトウヨ」って一括りにするのはナンセンスだわ。馬鹿の一つ覚えも程々にしなよ。 まぁ、一番言っちゃいけない言葉をコメントしてる貴方に何を言っても無駄かな。 そんなこと言っちゃう貴方の方が貴方の言う「ネトウヨ」よりもよっぽど悪質ってことに気付くべきだね。

I have probably eaten 70,000 to 100,000 meals at the age of 66. They probably cost well over $200,000. There are very few that I remember. I tried to take my Thai wife to the best restaurant in Bangkok for a $500 meal. She refused to eat where the Thai royalty go for dinner. There is nothing wrong with paying $200 for a meal you'll never forget.
