In this video I go over installing adjustable end links with limited resources. I always suggest having a shop dial these in for you if possible, as it will read to a better overall ride and performance.

Adjusting endlink length is best done with someone in the driver's seat or with weights to simulate the presence of the driver.

Not super necessary but yes it would be slightly more accurate.

This technique is universal it works with any sway bar set up. So there is no worry in your buddy having an frs i used to race an frs, camaro 2ss, and a s550gt now and for all i used the same tech and it zeros in 👍

Im having problems with mines. I put it on ramps but the tire is in the way. So i left it 2 inches lower the stock cuz my car was lowered about 2 inches.

What kind of in links are you using? I am working on a Volvo and have use the same BC coil overs on it I need different and links can you help

Easiest is to just get some wood or cinder blocks and lift the car up one corner at a time to put them under the tire. Make sure you are on a flat surface.

So what happens if the end links are too short or long? Will it damage anything?

If too long the end ling will be compressed and can bend or snap. If its too short when rebounding, it will bend or snap the end links in the opposite direction. Which is why zeroing in is key, so that the sway bars distribute the weight evenly and smoothly without uneven pressure. 👍

@@touge_over_track1895 So if you lower the car by using adjustable coil overs by let´s say 2", then you will have to shorten the links by the same 2"? Or is there a way to set the right height and position of the sway bar?

Preload. They will be increasing or decreasing torsion when the car is static.. i.e. not related to body roll. Will cause weird steering characteristics in turns.

I have the same set up with the bc coils and I have this clanging noise coming from the driver side when I go on uneven road is this the end links or the coils?

I believe it’s the pillow ball mounts on the top of the coil over... I’ll be making my next video covering what I’ve found and tried to do to fix them
