This video is part 2 in demonstrating how simple it is to adjust the Pro String Claw Clamps to the perfect string width. They are the first flying tennis and squash clamps on the market with an angled design, helping to keep your strings straight throughout the stringing process. In addition, they are diamond-dusted to avoid any string slippage and as a result avoid any damage on your strings.
Our stringing machine places the safety of your tennis racquet frame above all else through its no-leverage design. The Platinum 2.0 is the world's most portable, electronic tennis racquet stringing machine used and trusted by hundreds of ATP & WTA professionals world-wide.

Thank you for your kind words! :) You could start the clamp with one full turn loose and work you way by loosening it or tightening it slowly. Until it is able to hold the tension without slipping, that is the perfect spot.

Is it the same number of turns of the knob for the new 2.0/2.0+ Claws?

Hey there Jeremy, the NEW Claw Clamps 2.0/2.0+ will feature a convenient adjustable knob that will make tightening or loosening the clamping strength super easy!

Thanks-I guess my specific question is whether the number of turns of the knob are the same as the number of turns of the screw in this video. I like the idea of having a recommended number of turns as I am paranoid about slippage and/or crushing the string.

How many turns for 1.30mm string?
@myprostringer
@myprostringer 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Seb! The approx. 1.5 turn will work well on the 1.3mm string. The fine tuning should start from there. We usually find that a 1.2mm is around 1.25 turns so 1.5 is a good starting point and then close or open with the tension adjustment screw according to the clamp feeling. Hope this helps!
