Vz.24s were used by everyone because a) the Czechs were "prolific" arms dealers in the interwar period and b) forget the 98k, the Vz.24 was the true peak military Mauser 98 variant. Get a Yugo M24/52c with the front sight cut for the hood and put a Mojo rear peep sight on it and you have the Perfect Organism (for dispensing 8mm Mauser via stick-shift). Unfortunately many Vz.24s were destroyed ("sporterized") when folks in the 50s-90s discovered that the quality of the steel for Czech receivers was superior and thus ideal for magnum caliber conversions.

Reminds me of a meme where an old timer was harassing a ww2 troop with his garand. Something like: "You kids and your fancy toys nowadays. And 50 years from now think of what our stank asses will be making fun of when all we needed was a good ngal with some pano's and 8 30rd mags. None of this invisibility cloak with laser blasters garbage with neuro chips in our brains to give our eyes a digital hud view and ability to link wirelessly with our drone protector. I dont like it, too many things to fail.😂
