I love all the adoption stories but I have to agree watching Bella, Liam and Rylan’s adoption brings me to tears every time! They relief in Bella’s eyes as she looks at the boys melts my heart every time I couldn’t imagine how all the kids feel on their adoption day, it must be a huge relief for them Congratulations Jamie Lee Pettit!

Not flesh of my flesh, nor bone of my bone, but still miraculously my own. Don't forget for a single minute, you didn't grow under my heart, but in it. I had that on my fridge since 1971, when I adopted my first child. I've now got 10 children, 7 legally adopted, and 2 came as adults and are adopted in my heart, like Jamie. I'm happy for you all!

Not sure who cut the onions, but dang. Jamie has waited so long for this. So happy for her, as someone who had her last name changed in a blended family. I know she feels more a part of this family than ever before.

You can always tell how loved Jamie is by everyone in the family, the one that got me the most was one time Shelly saying that if Jamie wanted or needed to move with them then she would move in with them,that the whole family cousins and all love her and would be there for her.

I love how this adoption now gives Jamie and little Aurora the same last name. That makes bio mum and bio daughter come even closer together. I love that you never gave up on Jamie. She deserves it.

Crystal, if you want to give each of the kids a special keepsake, use their adoption shirt to make a throw pillow. Also use all of the shirts for each a T-shirt quilt.

Jamie is the most pure, beautiful human being. The love she gives is unconditional & quite rightly the love she receives is also unconditional. Being a ‘Pettit’ now reinforces the sense of belonging she has always craved. So happy for the family. ❤

This brings tears to my eyes. I have a child with special needs. I think of all the things that can happen once I’m no longer here. I saw the video that mentions Jamie pass and it just makes me cry because even after all that she’s always singing and happy. I love that she has the same last name as Aurora and Melinda. The name change to Jamie is so symbolic. I’m happy she feel Connected even if it’s just a name change.

Saw the title,my heart came up in my throat ,then video started and Jamie crying did me in!!! Then crystal and grandma talking added more emotions ,yes crystal Jamie wanted this for along time though she knows she's loved, the fact having the same name as the other kids is closure for her!!!

I started following your family a few weeks before you met Lucas and Savannah. Seeing all the adoptions after that than now having Jamie's last name as Pettit, its so special.
