Bondi Rescue follows the work of the elite professional Lifeguards who patrol Australia’s busiest beach. This is Australia’s real life Baywatch! Taking the viewers on their journey through mass rescues, drownings, resuscitations, shark sightings, and all number of the weird and wonderful experiences Bondi Beach dishes up.
In #BondiRescue the audience sees the action through the eyes of real characters and #lifeguards like Hoppo, Deano, Reidy, Jesse, Maxi, Whippet and Harries, as they catch thieves, perform CPR, make drug busts, break up fights, and even handle a navy bomb that washes ashore one afternoon. Every year throws up new and completely unexpected challenges, and how lifeguards adapt is what makes Bondi Rescue a show that’s about much more than swimmers being saved in the surf.

I lost my little girl for probably 1 minute in a very crowded mall...just about had a heart attack..it's the absolute worst feeling ever to lose sight of your young child..that was 42 years ago..and now I keep a very tight hold on my grandchildren.

I agree Billy. The family must have a great relashionship as oriental family's have huge respect for their elders and the fact that they were calling each other 'dumb' and laughing just showed how close they are. I imagine Grandma was a bit frightened too at first.

When visiting a busy tourist attraction or shopping mall with children, it’s a good idea to take photos of them just before the day’s activities begin. This is so easy to do with current tech, I just don’t understand why people don’t do this. Seeing what they look like and the clothes they’re wearing is a huge help in finding them if they get lost.

It's not that difficult to understand... Getting little kids to stay still for a pic can be a hassle, especially if they're impatient to have fun. If they don't have a tendency to get lost to begin with, then it's quite understandable that harrassed and busy parents would be focused on other things.

Me and my group were leaving to go to our gate at the airport in Alberta Canada a few years ago. The airport was renovated and there was a nice employee who was giving people rides to their gates. We told the last 2 people to wait for the employee to come back as the cart could only fit 2 people and luggage, but 1 of them didn't. Fortunately the lady went to go find them on her cart and after 20 minutes, fortunately the person was found but apparently tried to walk to our gate and got losy along the way.

As someone who gets lost really easily. (Even in places I'm familiar with, GG sense of direction) What I've started doing is using google maps to mark where I am, say if I leave my car there. Just put a pin, save the location and leave. Or else I'd have to waste 6 hours finding my car(It happens) Or call people to help me find my car. Put a pin in it, with Google Maps. Not sponsored.

When they can’t find somebody and think he’s in the water, why don’t they call everybody out of the water? Then either he comes too and is found and fine, or he’s the only one left and struggling, and can be seen, or his body is easier to find.
