Advanblack Lower Fairings Install

As the title says I install the Advanblack Lower Fairings on my 15 Street Glide Special. I don't know how they compare to the Harley Davidson Lower Fairings. I do know the price is significantly cheaper than the OEM. And seeing how there is a good chance they may get hit by a rock I don't wanna pay the H-D price. The paint is spot on and definitely give the bike a great look while protecting me from cold wind, bugs, and rain.

It didn't take me that long but I imagine with parts on backorder for everything I'm not surprised. I did another install of the lower fairing lights so go check those out. They are super bright! Thanks for watching🤘🤘

Excellent install brother, that color looks like it matches perfect, you will love them on your bike, winter and summer riding they will make a big difference, not counting the extra storage, now if you want more storage they make a leather bag the fits on the glovebox door so you can carry even more stuff lol, I think I have 50 or 60 bucks for mine, I dig the way you ended the video on this one, good work brother 💯👊🏼😎

i need to know how to take off lower fairing that has twin cooling system. so i can change the crash bar.

I’ve never removed one with the cooling system. My service manual has info on the break down. Do you have a service manual for your bike?

How is the slider to open and close the vent? is it smooth opening like Harley? I heard it sticky and not great? I am looking at these also

These slide easy. I’ve heard the Harley ones are hard to slide. Sounds like it’s hit or miss. No issues with the ones I got so far. Hope that helps🤙

It looks good to me and they are holding up well. I don’t know how good they are compared to the H-D ones but as far as price it was a easy choice. The paint is spot on.

Do they come with mesh inserts in case you want to take side blank out for more air ?

No they don’t. I actually removed the side blank and added lights.

@@SinisterClutch Thank you .Just ordered Velocity red sunglo from Advanblack. I'm thinking of adding Custom dynamics lights. I rewatched your video and noticed that from inside right where light would fit, it is blocked and not open. So basically if someone wants to take that blank out in the front and put mesh inserts for more air during summer it would not work.

@@mannydodge8534 Actually it would. I have another video where I install the lights and you can remove the back plate. I do have some space with the lights and can see through the top and allows more air.

I can't compare them to H-D since this is the first time having lower fairings but the paint is spot on and overall quality looks really good😎👊. I'd buy from them again for sure
