The pattern your camera sees in the sunroofs is polarizing to cut down on sun light heating up the interior. You can see the same pattern if you look through polarized sun glasses and turn the glasses to a particular angle. I like your videos, and your down to earth attitude

Part of me thinks a limo would be fun, but also impractical. I used to have one of those Caprices. It had been a cop car, then a taxi, then wrecked and repaired. Still never let me down. Seeing that go hurt a bit.

Hello Silas, mhh got a crushing sugestion for the limo. Dunno for sure if yall can do it but here goes : crush the roof in the middle of the limo with your loader and then fold it over like a hotdog bun and then stick it in the chrusher. Thanks for the cartoon "flat as a pancake " chrush. 👍🍺🍺🍺😉 an other idear for the limo is ask your monstertruck friend to come over and pre flatten it with the monstertruck . Greetings from the Netherlands 👍

Hey Silas! If they run, you reckon you could find some wheels to fit the limos and take 'em dirt tracking round a paddock or two? If you reckon they're a bit long for the crusher, you could always shorten them by hitting a few things too....Heck, if I lived over there, I'd happily come set that up and run 'em for ya! Get 'em going, have an afternoon of fun and run 'em through places they would never have been driven - let alone built to survive!

Cool vids man, Im a new sub. Its nice to see some fresh ideas in youtube. Not many junkyard/salvage channels on here. Not just generic vids too, interesting vids in an interesting category. I always thought it would be cool to own a scrap yard. Keep up the good work 👍🏻 Edit: man, poor 70’s old square box. That thing would probably sell for $2k herein upstate NY.

Great watching what you do. A skilled operator for sure. If you have a hut with a fridge those soda's would be good for your helpers who dont seem to stop long. Where i am our scrap classed as 'light gauge' (cars & sheetmetal) and heavy gauge (just as the name implies). Keep the big bits under a metre and they pay double what the bodies get. $200 at the moment. They have lotsa separate bins for electric motors, ali, copper, brass, radjis etc. All different prices. Clean Copper over $6 a kilo. Like you, its always busy and a scrap mountain keeps changing shape. Fun business

An easy way to get rid of the limousines would be to smash the roofs in with the loader and put them on top of each other in the semi trailer or you could fold them in half long ways and put them in the crusher.

You seem to be willing to try KZfaq watcher requests so here's one. Place a decent looking junk car in the crusher head on with the rear hanging out and crush it as flat a possible (if the motor is missing it could go even flatter). That would look neat in itself but then as an added bonus, turn the car around and flatten the rear with the front hanging out. With the crusher holding the flatten car in place lift up the exposed portion with the front end loader folding it in half, then crush it again. The end result being a folded flattened car. Thanks for posting your videos.
