As someone who has one of these bikes she did the wrong thing just pull over they aren't going to arrest you over it, in my state as long as its a engine 50cc or smaller without a geared transmission you don't need lic. Or Registration and can drive in the bicycle lanes and paths as well as parks with limits up to 15 mph unless its a pro build its not going to be breaking any laws like go 25 stay on the edge of the road and if you cant then get on the sidewalk and dont exceed 15 its not hard to obey the laws or no your rights

Hate to say it but the trooper is wrong. I have a bicycle with a 4 stroke engine kit on it. Lived and rode my motorized bicycle in three different city's in Louisiana. IT'S NOT Illegal to ride on the roadways
