@@melissawalker3888 He's in shock. No way to tell if he's talking that way as a result of narcotics or not. But I guarantee he was on something to cause the crash. People don't randomly run off the road, not bother to brake, and rev their engine seconds before. Definitely DUI.

To be fair, the guy most likely has a really bad head injury. Which is the reason he is freaking out and being really difficult and resistant. He probably also has no memory of what happened and is super confused.

Definitely also prolly went into shock from the accident he prolly crashed and then blacked out when he woke up police and fire rescue were all around him trying to take him out of the car I would prolly go into shock as well 😂

I really appreciate showing (more or less) the full process of cutting the hood off. Didn't know that that was how it's conducted. Interesting stuff. Takes some training and practice to stay calm.

Scrug It’s wasn’t even done all that well... But they did get the job done. VX is one of my favourite job operations. It’s messy but knowing and seeing that trapped person be removed safely is amazing!

The police officers did an AMAZING job. They spent the whole time securing the victim physically and mentally while the firefighters removed the roof to get him out. And one of the officers has a sense of humor. 😂

He could have had a head injury or could be in shock. You kinda dont think straight when things like this happen. Also how do you know it was his fault?? Noone saw the accident. Could have been his car malfunctioned or someone else ran him off the road or a number of things.

You never should assume it's always the driver's fault when they wreck...he is clearly in shock and quite possibly injured in that moment. I've been in a wreck and I don't remember half the things I said.

Celine Adrienne “Cops will say it’s a dui, when it’s a dui”, you obviously have no understanding of police procedure. Just because they didn’t say “dui”, does not mean it was not. Officers often suppress they’re suspicious when they feel it may cause more distress/non-compliance from the individual, this is a perfect example of that. So please don’t try and act like you’re an expert, it makes you look dumb

That's a scary situation for anyone I work rescue in Mass right next door to Rhode island and who said he was drunk maybe medical emergency but lets leap to conclusions. I wonder if these people would whine if this happened to them or their children , I know the roads around here and you can loose control just a little over the speed limit

News said it was a medical emergency. He's actually acting EXACTLY like someone who just came out of a grand mal seizure. Iv seen it many times my husband has them. Drunk people act slow, stupid and confused especially when in shock, and depressants like alcohol prevent panic attacks which this dude is clearly having.

I had this same thing happen to me where I totaled my car and I woke up in the hospital the next day. They said I was acting combative and freaking out and they had to cut me out of the car. It’s crazy to watch it happen, gives me chills I thought he was dead.

Rode shotgun in a tow truck for 10 years with my ex husband and Ive seen some TERRIBLE wrecks. Nothing has really fazed me in any of the Live PD accident videos. Often, wrecks will look a lot worse than they actually are. Newer vehicles are designed to crumple more in order to absorb the impact from the accident. This video actually fazed me. That was a bad wreck and that person is so lucky to be alive.

To everyone who’s complaining about the guy acting like that. You have to remember that he literally just crashed so he probably got some sort of damage in his head thats making him act the way he’s acting it’s not his fault.
