I’m away from my glass for a bit more time but I’ve been keeping the creativity going with my paper crafting. My granddaughter Aedea is turning 11 next week (where did the time go?) and she is into all things Japanese. I scoured Etsy and Design Bundles to find some amazing digital kits and with the help of my Epson printer, my paper cutter, and some basic supplies I put together this journal for her. Some pages and ephemera are other Asian inspired pieces, but she’s received it and loves it and now I can share publicly.
I started with a spiral bound sketchbook and removed all the pages except for 25 that I decorated on the front and back of each. The cover is Cricut Faux Suede, with a metallic leather patch that I tooled with the Cricut Maker using my engraving tip and foil transfer tip (medium.) Such a joy to work on!
