I have AEG AG71A. Brilliant little machine picks up pet hairs a treat and is easy to use. A bit on the noisy side compared to my full size machine (Miele S8000 Cat and Dog) but at just a shade over 50 quid this machine goes just about anywhere and is good at the job it is supposed to do. One of my better domestic appliance buys along with the Miele which between them do a splendid job of keeping a very large house clean.

I looked at this model tonight on Very and was tempted. I've changed my mind after watching your, as always, excellent video. I have a JDW Stick Vac which you can purchase from Jacamo for £29. Very similar with a turbo brush and seperate small hose, which I use for small spills. You should have a look at one of those. I know QVC sell them too!

I had the electrolux model, it was a fantastic vacuum whilst it lasted under heavy household use in a 5 bedroom house all the time cost £50 from Argos which is unfortunately not sold anymore :(

Thanks for the review. A few years ago, I was faced with a choice of either this one or a Dirt Devil Handy bagless. I chose the Dirt Devil, which was a big mistake. The dust container kept clogging and the motor kept overheating & cutting out. If you want a small mains powered vacuum for cleaning either the car or, as demonstrated, stairs, I think this one is a wise choice.

oh im pleased with that ive got degenerative hips and have had two spinal surgery's so using a large vacuum for as long as i have on the stairs was a nightmare so i ordered one of theses im really glad i did though cause it seems great now ive seen your video thank you ibaisaic =)

I have the Hoover Brushvac. I can't actually remember where it is, but I have one! It's very good at cleaning matresses and I have used it on the carpet when I didn't want to carry the Sebo upstairs, though I'm more likely just to go and grab the Sebo now!

How disappointing the Riser Visor has been removed I have the Electrolux version had it for a few years now I love it very good on car mats I use the tools off my old Dyson DC18 they fit on the hose. I know you're not supposed to but I have rinsed the filter a few times and it's fine, as you point out it not very good at filtering out the smaller particles anyway after a few uses you will probably notice a coating of dust on the exhaust grill.
