@@malekiththeeternityking5433 Contrary to the popular belief, Malekith isn't nearly as much of a dickhead compared to all other dark elves. Yes he is a tyrant ruling with an iron fist but who wouldn't be when all the people you rule are... well dickheads? In regard to Morathi... yes, she is a bitch although it's fair to point out that the retcon did a number on her character in the sense - yeah she ain't too important, she just happens to have a child who is really important. To be honest it kinda pisses me off when all the people who didn't read the books say things like this.

Anyway my fav character is Malekith in Warhammer fantasy but he does a lot of bad things. Is he as bad as Hellbron or Darkblade? No Is he as cunning as his mom not really. And we know that if he took Ulthuan he would be a decent King given thats what he was raised for etc. It doesnt change the fact that he betrayed Bel Shannar and murdered him a man he swore fealty to. It doesnt change the fact that he broke his oath to Snorie ir whatever his name was It doesnt change the fact that hes been killing his own people for 7000 years

Some interesting bits of lore about Aenarion in the novels. 1. Despite the effects of Sword of Khaine, He was a good father to Malekith, and Malekith still remembers his memories with him very fondly. 2. He was one of the two person(the other being the Caledor dragontamer) that morathi couldn't seduce. Instead, Morathi, while trying to seducing him, fallen in love with Aenarion, and he was possibly the only man that Morathi ever truly loved. 3. Aenarion's relationship with Morathi was sort of love-hate with tons of drugs and potions. On the one hand, he thinks that he never truly loved her, and actually considers killing her before going to help Calledor, but on the other hand, he never manages to kill her, and simply gives one final kiss of goodbye and lefts.

Aenerion killed those demons one by one, not all of them at once. Also one of them got one shotted by his dragon. So he killed 3 greatest demons which is still impressive

If Chaos wanted to win the Coming of Chaos all they had to do is awakened Krakanrok Krakanrok either kills Aenarion before he got Widowmaker or just stomps Caledor Dragontamer to prevent the Vortex

@@amandag.6186 Not sure. Probably early on in the First Chaos Invasion. Chaos Gods could have sent Belakor and Krakanrok to kill Caledor Dragontamer, other Elf mages, Albion's Seers AND Lustrian Slanns! Karanak is a Daemon Hound of Khorne, I think

Not to mention his original story had him walking straight out of the Flame of Asuryan, picking up a spear and then one-shotting Morkar through the chest with it until GW reassigned the kill to Sigmar

Grimnir's sacrifice would have been for nothing without the Vortex All Chaos had to do to win is awakened Krakanrok so he could kill Caledor Dragontamer plus every Elven mage just to be sure Without the Vortex, Daemons conquer the Old World. Someone else becomes the First and Last Everchosen and leads Chaos to a new world or universe to conquer!

I consider Age of Sigmar and the End times to be non cannon. Aenarion was indeed one hell of a bad ass, the avatar of both khaine and assurian, he was indeed more powerful then the chaos gods themselves

I couldn't help but notice some similarities between Anerion and Sigmar as I was listening to the video. Both were the first major leaders of their people. Both were amazing warriors prior to leadership ( anerion adventurer, sigmar barbarian chief). Both dealt with major invasions of their new empires ( Anerion- Chaos, Sigmar- undead and chaos). Also both of them had to deal with intensely powerful magical items ( Anerion- Sword of Khaine, Sigmar- Crown of Sorcery, yes that crown), Finally both of them had to deal with insanely powerful creatures or individuals ( Anerion- Greater demons, Sigmar- Nagash and at least one everchosen). Not sure if Games workshop was just recycling material but thankfully it gave us two amazing characters. P.S. Sigmar is the one true god of Warhammer if you believe there are others you are a blasphemer and need to see a local witch hunter for inquisti.... I mean evaluation and therapy.

Aenarion didnt prevent anything. He gave the elves a few years, tops. Caledor gave them millenia. Caledor. Always and forever. The Dragontamer. The Conqueror. The Slaver. The Dragonlord. The best High Elves are all Princes of Caledor. Caledor was always the greatest of the Elven realms. The only one that NEVER fell prey to chaos temptation. The cults never gained a foothold. Duty. Pride. Dragons. Caledor.

Speaking of badass Warhammer characters that get slept on, W'soran, progenitor of the Necrarch bloodline. Very very powerful necromancer, but he's frequently pushed out of the conversation by names like Nagash, Vlad, Mannfred. Ushoran is cool too. When people think of vampires and Warhammer they tend to think of the von Carsteins, Abhorash and the Blood Dragons, or Neferata and the Lahmians.

Aenarion cool and all but, when humans didnt exist at the time doesnt that mean the chaosgods where considerably weaker then later on in the timeline? If so slaying 3 greater demons simultaniously back then isnt really compareable to slaying 3 of them in modern times, or 1, for that matter.

I don't know that much about WH (and I mean ALL sides of WH: Fantasy, 40k, AoS), just got into it this year, but as far as I'm concerned, the badasses of Fantasy are Sigmar, Aenarion, Settra (insert all his titles here), Kroak, Grimnir (That Angry Dwarf god) and maybe Caledor (He kamehameha'd Malekith and sunk the entirety of Ulthuan while turning the Cities into Arks, and he made the Vortex which is pretty important) any objections? Or do I speak the Emperor's truth?

I for one am a HUGE Bretonnia fanboy and think quite highly of Gilles Le Breton and Louen Leoncoeur. Especially how Louen dies in the End Times. He may not be as strong as the names you've mentioned but he is still a impressive man and a honorable one. For the Lady! For the Lion! (I mean that last part in both Fantasy and 40k too!)
