+Cybor Bot Dude, they are awesome! I've grown so much! My girlfriend eats a lot of salads so I have one AeroGarden now with a couple types of lettuce, kale, and spinach (my own seeds, I don't use the pods anymore, I just plant what I want). Grows enough salad for her to have at least 3 big salads a week! My other AeroGarden I keep growing cherry tomatoes cus she also likes them on her salad and I'll eat them as well. I just got the AeroGarden Bounty model. Their newest model with 45Watts of LED (as compared to the 30Watts we have in the Extra model), and 9 pod holes instead of 7. Although the gardens are about the same size, I don't know if the 9 pod holes are even worth it as I never even use the full 7 in the 7 models. But, the 45Watts of LED is a nice upgrade. I haven't setup the new garden yet, I really just purchased it because there was a 'lightning deal' on amazon so I got it cheap (like $60 less than I paid for my Extra models). Anyways, happy gardening! These AeroGardens are great fun and beneficial cus you can actually eat what you grow year round!

80 days in the garden 5 times faster in an Aero garden say the adverts planted my tomatoes yesterday time will tell my lettuce only took a month and a half.

Not humid at all really. Normal inside. My AC keeps my house dry in summer, and in winter house is dry cus it's so cold outside. So yeah, should be fine in your bedroom.

+Mara Rahl It reflects the light, giving the plants more light. Rather than the light just going out into the room, the foil keeps it all on the plants, making them grow even better.

Aerogarden used to sell press on reflector strips but I don't see that on the website right now.

+John Dough They may be a strain of cherry tomatoes that stays shorter. They are sold to work with this AeroGarden (and other AeroGardens that only have 12" light height). So that just may be how they are, but, I will see what happens in another month.

+Earthling1984 My bad. You're right. The official salsa garden kit comes with heirloom cherry tomatoes, which stay shorter for 12" Aerogardens. I made my own "salsa garden" kit using the mega cherry tomatoes kit plus a leftover jalapeno seed pod I had laying around. The mega cherry tomatoes definitely took over. But I got over 100 tomatoes off of each plant!
