After years of wearing weaves and wigs I just got so sick of all this stuff and I just shaved my hair off and it has been the best thing I've ever done I get the looks but I really don't care and I just love it.

I love my buzzed head , my husband and I started dating a little over a week after I buzzed my hair. He 1st met me at work and with some hair on my head. We worked at the same place so when I did it he walked by and said he liked it. We started talking and he loves me either way and thinks I'm beautiful either way luckily. Buzzed hair is awesome , most of society cannot accept it for whatever reason but f them.

2019 marks 40 yrs in the Beauty Industry for me. So to celebrate, I shaved my head on New Years Eve. I just passed my 1st month. I'm 58. Having a shaved head is awesome , I started doing mine last year and have continued for a year. I keep telling my husband I'm going to grow it out but haven't yet. It is so easy and freeing.

I’ve dealt with baby fine thinning hair since my early 20’s. I said for years that I wish I had the lady-balls to shave my head. Watching your videos inspired me to take the leap and do it!! It’s been a bit over a year now and I can’t imagine going back to what I was doing (and spending) for my hair to look okay for maybe 2 weeks. I work in healthcare in a very very busy clinic. I do wear wigs to work because I don’t have time to explain to 70 or so patients a day that pass through my office why I did it, that I’m not sick, etc. But once I’m in my car, oooh that hair comes off! So thank you, you sweet beautiful soul for giving me the inspiration to grow my lady-balls!! ☺️

Gabrielle, I have been shaving my head for six months now and just love it! I have never had so many complements in my life! I am naturally gray so don't have to color it which makes it easier. However, I still go to a barber every two weeks and would love to be able to shave it myself. It would be great if you would show an in-depth video of how you do it. Love your videos!

Ok, so I have commented before I think. So sorry if I repeat myself. I’m a stage cancer patient with Mets to the brain. (I know we are shaved head ladies for two different reasons) My hair is impossible to grow so I shaved it. And have been off and on through my treatments. I’d rather look unique and edgy than patchy and sick. It was also a way for me to take control of my body. In a way that cancer couldn’t. I found you because I think I was googling bald makeup artists and you popped up. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate this video. I left the grocery on Sunday crying because a woman called me a name I guess because she thought I was going to “hit” on her. It’s a small town that I live in...I wasn’t upset about the fact that she thought I was gay, it’s his shallow she was and nasty. And the fact that she thought I would have the poor taste of choosing her if I was. I find that women are MUCH less accepting of differences and they men for the most part think that beauty is beauty, even if not the norm. Men will look me in the eye. All DAY I get comments like “oh your hair is growing back so nicely, it won’t be long now” Depending on my mood, I have some nice comebacks and some that will devastate the person who said it. If all else fails I just skid them the 8 inch scar on the back of my skull. I decided to embrace my scar and “wear my ugly” life is too short why can’t we women support each other? I could go on and on. But. I really wanted to say thank you and you inspire me. I was makeup artist about 23 years and now I blog about makeup for cancer patients and always credit you for amazing makeup tips and tricks for when you don’t have hair to hide behind:) hoping I can help them feel pretty.

Ive been shaving my head for almost 2 years and love it! It’s my second time rocking the bald look and growing it out the first time was awful😂 I have stick straight hair too and let me tell you it stayed standing at attention for INCHES! Not cute! I love your videos and although I didn't completely shave ALL of my hair, you did inspire this 55 year old to get a pompadour in January which I have kept up at platinum blonde! I love my shaved head. It helps with my scalp too because I have dermatitis. I've debated about shaving the top but I don't have a perfectly shaped head so I think it helps balance my shape. I also think it's a plus because I hate my hair touching me....hahaha! Have you considered letting your natural color come in? It will save you time that's for sure 😊 I like the blonde but just curious. I used to like dying my hair but I don't anymore because of my dermatitis. I can manage it better when I use less chemicals.

I use the exact products that you used, but I order from Amazon and I save a ton of money ( I'm a baldie too). Hi!!! I'd love to see a more in-depth shaving video. I got my hubs to shave my head for the first time last week and I love it! I'd like to be able to maintain it more regularly than he probably has time for but I'm a little afraid to shave it myself! I feel like it's something I can see myself having forever and not hassling hubs all the time (even though he's likely to be happy to help!) would be great. Yes the constant bleaching and buzzing is a hassle but to me it’s still easier. And I too HIGHLY suggest if someone does this and is planning on keeping it, invest in your own set of clippers and learn how to color your hair by yourself or you will go broke! I used to have to cut and dye almost weekly just to keep the look

I loved Gabi! I found her intagra when I had shaved my hair because of the chemotherapeutic treatment, and I was looking for inspirations for shaved hair, finishing what I loved, and I got to know other girls who also wore shaved hair because they wanted to, I was delighted, I continued shaving my hair, even after the end of the treatment, I let it grow for a while and I recently shaved again, I love it too much. I have a big ish forehead (well it is to me) - so i buzz my head and leave a very small bang - i colour my hair my fave colour (purple) - im 51 x it took so much courage to do...but im not going back now...saved so much money from products and hairdressers...i feel even more independent as i cut it and colour it myself.......us buzzy ladies are beautiful - remember that

I so wish I was younger!!! I am 63 and wear my hair mostly in a short bob. At my age I am showing some wrinkles and the neck "thing" so I don't know if it would be right for me. Plus I am overweight.On you and the other ladies ...you all look beautiful and so feminine.

A fellow Torontarian! 🇨🇦 I'm in the GTA (just north east of the city) I have a Sally's 5 min away. You're lucky to have a gorgeous shaped head! I'm shaving my head today, probably, basically due to health issues. I've lost a lot of my hair. Thinned and major patches. I'm terrified.... 😭

About 4 years ago i went through 3 rounds of chemo and my hair was so thin and ugly and long and not even curly anymore. I cut it to about a little more then chin length and later my curls started to form (3a curls). I recently got a nape undercut because i wanted something new something fresh. Ive been thinking about shaving my head for about 4 hours now lol but ive been thinking i wanna do it cause it seems fun and because i cant believe i was so scared to lose my hair and now i wanna chop it because it makes me feel good to get a change! I don't know i just wanted to share ima probably do it anyways because im going to be a freshman in highschool with a round face and curls so i might as well have fun while i can

I've always wanted to try a shaved head once in my life. But now I'm a mom and married and my husband already could barely handle me getting my first tattoo at age 37... also I don't have a symmetrical face like you do, and I usually don't wear a lot of makeup either. So, there's lots of things holding me back. But if someone around me were to fall sick and lose their hair, I'd be the first to shave my head with them! Do you wear makeup daily, or do you have days that you do not wear makeup? I kinda feel like a shaved head needs that glamour balance, and that's not really me. If you want a true barbershop head shave look up the Art of shaving. I know there is a location in Troy Michigan but I don’t think they have any locations in Canada. This would get you a Ginuwine barbershop head shave.
