14:41 The hidden space for luggage is just so thoughtful and brilliant. Very real issue, when I was living part time in BKK pre-Covid, I actually gave away a large suitcase because there was nowhere to place it without ruining the aesthetics of my 36 sq meter one-bedroom condo! - Alexis

I see one BIG shortcoming, and that is "where am I supposed to sit down and work for 8-9 hours a day" ? Let's get real, remote work is here to stay. Every condo, I don't care how small it is, needs a serious workspace that includes outlets, and deep desk, and a professional chair. That matters most to people nowadays. 1 out of every 6 jobs on linkedin are remote jobs

Love Siamese 42! But hey Forrest, what about featuring some condos at the riverside too, along the BTS Silom Line, in IconSiam's vicinity? Better air quality, less prone to floods. Many hidden gems there, as most people seem to just focus on the Sukhumvit area. - Alexis

That was a nicely done video. I like seeing the higher end properties. One thing I would like to see is properties of this level, but triple the size, so 2 or 3 bedrooms plus a proper chefs kitchen and larger bedrooms.

Maybe its just me but as I get older, I find myself going more for the locals neighborhoods on the outskirts. The newer buildings have a lot of appeal compared to the equivalent in the US but there is something that is 'easy on the eyes' about older buildings. Either way, you can't go wrong in Bangkok. Its easily one of the greatest cities on the planet. Great video man, thank you for your service.

@@codis5722 yes bearing you can get an apartment condo bless house for 7000 per month short lease 15 minutes to Asoke less on the BTS 40 thai baht yes when your older you prefer just outside but onnut is walking distance

I agree! I'm looking for something with that appeal, something authentic Thai, not the outskirts as I don't drive, but the unconventional for the expats neighborhoods. May I bother you with a question? (if you're still here, given the video is 9 months old) Do you know of a pet friendly lodgings in those neighborhoods? I think Chinatown or something in Ari area... I'm open to suggestions, I don't know BKK all that well.

Wow, I got offered 35,000, thai baht for the prince hotel in Bangkok for a month stay. But now, I will email or call Sophia to get this particular hotel room for 1 month from 12/17/2022 and possibly 2 months. I hope that it's near Yanhee Hospital. Great video! I'm going to Thailand for 6 months to fix my deviated septum breathing issues with my nose and other overall health improvements while enjoying a fun trip away from Washington DC northern Virginia area.

Wow Forrest very good video and great assistant 😊. You should learn to play golf. For me, I don't know where to stay first planning next Jan and stay for 2 months. I was thinking to fly to Phuket first but it will be my first time in Thailand. So, I need a suggestion what would you do and where would you stay first? I am thinking to stay in Bangkok too but for one month isn't too long? Was thinking more like 2 or 3 weeks. Are deals monthly stay only? I wanna stay close to a golf course too for 2-3 weeks also. Haven't seen changes in the market much at all. I had a look at 30 properties (rentals) that I looked at in Q2 of 2019 and 27 of them wanted EXACTELY the same monthly price as 2019. These were all condos in the 16k to 20k price range. I would disagree that it's a renter's market (even though economics, supply/demand would dictate that) Thais are known for not wanting to bargain or reduce their prices much at all. To be clear, not saying that "deals" can't be had - but they're not as prevalent as would be expected.
