I am from Mwanza, Sengerema to be exact, living in London for the last 30 years, and watching your clip momentarly brought me back home. The places, the Bismark Rock near the Kamanga ferry port, wonderful. Its great to see Air Tanzania takes to the skies once again, It would be even better if the company changed its name to Tanzanian and fly across this wondeful world

We went to Tanzania a couple of years ago and loved it. We didn't use Air Tanzania, but savoured the delights of Precision Air and criss crossed the Serengeti with Coastal Airlines. We ended up in Zanzibar, and if you want to experience the full chaos of an African airport, that's the place to sample it 🙂. It was a great holiday, wonderful country and lovely people, I'll be interested to hear how you see it.

I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of Business Class on Air Tanzania. Did you get a glimpse of Economy? What was it like? African aviation has certainly improved since I lived over there. I think some of the East African nations are leading the way, which is the reverse of how it used to be. Happy New Year to you, Racheal and the family. Much love to you, thank you for all you do and here's to a 2021 full of adventure.

I swear to god, I`m hearing the beginning of a local accent, you have been in Africa so long, you genuinely love this place, it shows through you passion Noel. Woman "economy class, you have to queue over their" Noel "please don`t put me with the great unwashed, I`ve eaten KFC at Base Camp to get me this far and almost passed out" After much faffing about gate 5, look at that beautiful A220. Loved your 2020 African adventures Noel, thanks for brining us along, its been a buzz. Colours in the sky when you started rolling were incredible, even the paper cup is the coolest ever.

1:36 When the lady said "Mzunguke" Noel probably thought she said something about a white man 😂 "Mzungu" means "a white person" in Swahili "Mzunguke" means "Go around" Edit: And if you are curious; yes the words are related. Early white explorers and missionaries used to "go around" seemingly aimlessly hence the natives named them "Mzungu" which loosely translates to "someone who goes around".

I'd take it over a 737 (Max or otherwise) any day, the cabin width and seat width date all the way back to the 707 days when people were skinnier and smoked all the time. The seats on this are an inch wider than those ancient Boeings, I think it's time the 737 was replaced altogether.
