I'm in my late '50s and since I was 12 I've been doing something whether it was mowing lawns or a paper route or doing a job and paying into the system and I got to pay for all that stuff out of my own job but someone can get a show up and just get everything for free and that's not right

It's astounding how these people claim to be poor yet I'm hearing multiple stories about buildings being redesigned and them paying $300-600 sometimes more a month each to landlords without renters permits. I’m appalled at the fact these advocates can literally go to city hall & protest with these migrants all of a sudden about the way they are being treated. What about the homeless New Yorkers living in the shelter system & don’t know who to turn to. This is how you get residents that end up staying in these shelters for over 7 years. Thank god for catholic charities/coalition for the homeless because they help you get back on your feet & courts appointed they with the authority over the shelter system. Unfortunately there are residents that fear talking to them. With this city being corrupt as it is this administration should be very cautious because the way it looks now soon that house of cards will crumble & all involved will pay a price. As a legal immigrant I had to study and learn it, and also had to learn the language ASAP. There was no external help, only whatever work you could get at very low wages.

Samantha does a lot of independent journalism as well. She is the one that got the bus rides and flights on video in the beginning of the Biden Administration. She got a tip, that illegals were being flown all throughout the country. She was the one that broke the story via whistleblower about the conditions in the New York migrant hotel. Parents were abandoning children in the hotel, leaving the children with alcohol for hours. The children were getting drunk and fighting, and I’m not just referring to teenagers. Parents were fighting and being separated to collect double benefits from multiple locations. Some were just going to new locations and registering in the system under different names, and getting money tied to two identities from two separate shelters. She also broke the story about children that arrived by themselves, being handed off to adults in this country without adequate identification and sometimes no identification of the adults they were being turned over to. They would be sent in bus loads to different cities and turned over to whoever came to get them. Some were flown with escort to different cities sometimes with stay overs in hotels with the escort, to be delivered to whoever picked them up. Other independent journalists tried to track down the children with the address given for their caretaker. Sometimes they would find an apartment filled with men, were multiple children were released to. One girl that was supposed to be in the care of her aunt was found living on the streets. She had run away, and told the journalist that she didn’t know the woman and she was being pimped out.
