Here is Part 2 of our three-part series on Afro Colombia! Among Afro-Colombians there are two disctinct ethnic groups that have their own language, culture, history and identity: the Palenqueros and the Raizales. We take a closer look in this video.

It’s so nice to see a mini series on the black Colombians. I am Colombian myself. I just feel like all the non-latino black people are always focussing way too much on palenque... it’s tiresome. We are all over the country in big numbers. Thank u for mentioning the other ‘racial group’. We are in all the big cities🥰 Choco, Buenaventura and Valle del Cauca y Cauca are so black

Thank you, that's a great suggestion! I will reach out to them. Based on your recommendation I looked at some of their work and they have been doing a lot of detailed coverage of recent events, which was very insightful and not necessarily published by more mainstream news outlets. Thanks again!
